Drop D - Sounds like 2010s pop Drop C# - Not very sure, sounds hella dope Drop C - The OG, can't beat that Drop B - Slipknot, would legit be actually fits for today's Matt's voice Drop A# - Pop Danthology vibes intensifies
@@StealyourtoneI been playing since 2004 and never knew i could just get a pitch shifter to mimic different tunings. To think all the money i could of saved instead of buying a guitar for each tuning 😂
Can I request "tears don't fall" in a tuning that has different open note intervals? Like DADGAD tunning. That would be cooler. Otherwise, you're playing the same song one half step lower and your finger positions are the exact same. It sounds good though dude.
@@Stealyourtone we actually don't have a name, there's about 20 of us that all have similar and different tastes so we jam in multiple small groups. I play lead in a Metalcore/Post Hardcore project, then I do the Synths/Keys in an Indie Project and a Synthwave project lmao
It's actually just a Ibanez Gio. the 2022 model. So not the most expensive guitar. But I own a Ibanez gio from 2010 or something and I wanted to know the difference. Long story short, cheap guitar but plays fairly nice!
That’s awesome man! I have an Ibanez gio as well, but with a blue swirl type pattern, changed the strings, but I can’t remember what they are called, but it plays amazing!
Thanks for all the comments and likes! The original tuning is drop C!
The original tunning is Drop C
No shit
Thanks captain obvious!
What are the chords for that?
@@harsh1839 it’s a metal song you don’t just use “chords”

drop C# is really nice actually!
That's what I play it in. There's a drop c# video that has part one and two that I always warm up with.
The grunge dropped D
In all tunings it sounds very nostalgic 🥲
I know right! Oldskool metalcore 🤘
Drop B and Drop A# sounds dope AF
For me I love Drop A# and Drop C#. I think they nailed it right on with drop C tho
A# is just a parkway drive song 😂😂
@@scheltemadrums460I feel like Drop B version is what Parkway Drive would play
@@AffixedEvil yea i associate Parkway Drive with Drop B tuning, tho some songs are lower too
The classic metcore standard of drop c 😁
Tears Don't Fall was my favorite song in Middle School. The original tuning is unmistakably Drop C
Brings back memories right? It’s considered dad rock nowadays 😂
@@Stealyourtone Darn kids these days... They have no RESPECT.
When I hear drop C# I instantly think of Foo Fighters and drop B I think of Parkway Drive. They all sounds nice in my opinion.
B and C# sounded „wrong to me“
A# was surprisingly nice for my ears
Glad you made it through the video 😂
what can I say… this video made sense for me. @@Stealyourtone
Drop B are my fav.
I love drop b, it is my fav tuning
I thought drop C sounded the most normal, guess I have a pretty good ear lol
Yeah its the tuning of the original LOLZ
It sounded real nice in Drop A# 😎
It’s drop c
The amount of time it took you to change strings and retune is crazy
So glad I used the pitchshifter on my daw. Can only imagine the time it would take….
@@Stealyourtone pretty bright ideal
Good job man
I like the different sounds different turnings give you

Given up - Linkin park (breakdown part) with others tunes
I actually like drop A#, it just sounds pleasing
It’s so weird, they somehow all sound like what it’s supposed to be 😂
Drop B my favourite tuning
Love how you did all the different tunings, it sounds very cool and unique in all of them. May I ask which guitar are you using in the video?
It’s a Ibanez Gio which I bought secondhand for €150!
Drop C used to he my favorite tuning to play in. I just love it
Thanks so much man! Sounds great!

Noted! And thanks for the kind words.
@@Stealyourtone I love guitar players like you, I'll always be a fan of guitarists, even if I'm a guitarist myself 🥰

Can’t really find the similarities but funny that you do though haha
Fuck yeah how original, just Petting it from drop to drop tuning
Change the fret in difrent tuning. Can hit same notes ... Sometimes... Close enough.. woooo love some bfmv

This Ibanez is perfect 😍😍 i have one
Literally the only other guitarist apart from matt and padge that I've seen play it correctly without octave chords, well done bruva
Did it by ear. Though someone said that I was wrong. It just sounded right to me!
you aint doing it wrong at all matey, watch matt live, you are spot on

Interesting perspectives on each! I just taught this song last week to a student. So drop C is original.
Good job my man :D
i dont have to guess but for some reason C# what pretty nice lol
Beautiful! Would you be able to play in dadgad and facgce tunings?
No idea to be honest!
In drop C# remembers me "my hero" by foo fighters, I don't know why, but It's like this.
I was like.. Drop C sounds perfect! No wonder XD
C# is so cool ! Like a7x Scream ;)

Drop A# sounded the best. Bb essentially.
Drop b sounds great
I’m doing a live cover of this song tommarow so cool
Love drop A# 🤘
I already knew before this vid it was in drop c. Bullet For My Valentine is always in drop c from what I know
Drop C. A# sounds the best though
When you hear the drop c you just KNOW
The lead part on the chorus is played with octaves
Drop D somewhat sounds like All The Small Things by Blink-182
It's clear noticeable only after drop B 😃😃
My band plays it in Drop A# and it's my personal favorite

Дроп д звучит как песня линкин парк с альбома minutes to midnight
I think they actually play it live in B now
Could be due to the fact that they play most songs in the same tuning I guess?
@@Stealyourtone that and I think it suits Matt’s voice as he’s aged.
We need this in Drop F XD
Wow they all sounded relatively the same just 1 half step down each time who would've thought
Yet some feel differently
As someone with no perfect pitch, i forgot what the original song sound like
The OG Drop C
I really liked Drop C#, the others sound really awkward and off
Drop A# sounds great
I get such a blink 182 or simple plan vibe from drop d lol
Bullet for my Blink sounds good to me
It's cool, but original is drop C even Bullet actually plays new album and live shows on drop B❤
Didn’t know that they played it live in B!

Hey did you do a standard tuning cover of that same song?
Nope I haven’t I think!
If theres good tension on the strings a lower tuning would sound hardcore af
what do you use to change your tuning on the fly like that?
My daw!
The original "poison" tuning was Drop C
Correct!
Drop C, I play this song on guitar all the time
Drop B lover !
Sounds like a parkway drive song in drop b
Drop B and A# sound like Demon Hunter
Drop C 100%

Probably why they picked it 😁
DropC!

Why does it sound like Blink-182 for the first one? 😂
Drop C is original ez
Pretty sure it was in drop c originally, but im not gonna lie, they shouldve tracked that shit in A#, that fucking hit different
Correct! It’s heavier indeed, don’t know if it would match with the vocals though. Glad you like it!
drop c for life
Drop B and A sounds so emo
Seeing how I know how to play this on guitar…it’s drop c
What pitch shifter are you using?
Just in my daw. Flstudio
