Mardin was Armenian. OttomanTurkey was created in 1453 AD. Turkiye, new spelling. Its 569th Anniversary i May 2022.. Azerbaijan also celebrated its 104th Anniversary in May 2022. Turkish wnd Azerbaijani histories are falsified due to biased Western politics. Azerbaijan, the land, was part of Persian Empire till 1828. They lost a war, 1826-1828, to Russiam Empire and surrendered the land to Russia. Anout 3,800 historic sites in Thurkey are Armenian, 3,400 Greek, 600 Jewish and Assyrian and 700 Turkish. Yurkey tried to change its history bt Turyfying names of cities. rivers, moubtains in order to eraise Armenian, Buzantine histories. Theu only mention Eastern Roman Empire becase Roman Empire does not exists.
