As a long-time aviation modeller I would suggest that, before your silver coat is applied, paint the ENTIRE outer hull etc in Glossy Black, picking out some panels to be masked and painted with gloss dark and glossmedium grey at random. You can even apply some panels in gloss colours like red or Blue or Green. Then apply the Silver/metallic paint - it will give it a variegated panel finish in a final appearance that is far more metallic to the eye. Silver paint, even a good one, on it's own still looks like silver paint to greater or lesser degrees. (The underlying paint will very lightly "tint" the overlying silver as well) Once that is all done and hardened, then start the weathering.
Great job!!! Looks great. Where do you get your lights and electrical supplies for models? I think a few pieces of styrene carefully placed inside and painted in dark tones could easily simulate the interior. Otherwise just close hatches and forget the interior. Round2 likely considered interior but would have driven cost higher. I think round2 did a great job!!
It is a nice-looking model, but lack of cargo interior is extremely disappointing :( I also think the choice of plastic material is not good, compared to pre-production units shown before (can be found on official round2 facebook).

The Revell of Germany has a complete interior!
Great kit, but no cargo interior not everyone can scratch build or afford to get after market sets.!!
The Revell of Getmany has a complete interior!
Revell's one is much better in details.
