2017 107s have few parts that are not up to snuff: The oil pump needs new 2021 version or aftermarket. The clutch basket is very weak, so you ride easy no problem. But if you get on it the basket will break! Also, the drive compensator is not very good.
Thanks for the comment. I actually have a pretty nasty short stroke 128 i'm building for this bike. I have the fly wheel at dark horse already. Its getting s&s cam chest components!
I just bought a flood tagged ultra from Houston. Fortunately only slightly in the water. 1-2 feet . She’s back on the road and you would never know. A bargain for me, and I don’t plan on selling it anytime soon.
I think I’m mostly good. All of the water proof connectors are still sealed. Besides the gauges, some nome water proof connectors, and the battery cables, I think it won’t be to bad
@@empcycleworks Sorry, I mean to acid wash the inside of the frame to stop rust. There may be new alternatives, such as corrosion converters that would work.
This will be a good series looking forward to it.
Thanks for the support. Lots of videos to come.

I know from experience you’ll need to pickle the frame to stop it from corroding from the inside.
Thats good to know. What exactly is pickling? I did not find much info when i Googled it.
