Both loyal to their older brothers who don’t deserve them and both judged unfairly in their own times as monsters until eventually they became a monster

To be fair, Daemon's... well, personality wasn't wholly judged unfairly, he was a wild-child and even his brother knew it. But I agree that perhaps Viserys could've handled him better.
As for Aemond, yeah I completely agree, he was wronged and then he took his frustrations out too far/hard and it ended in tragedy.
@@thalmoragent9344 Daemon lost his mother and then later father. He was the baby brother yet same as Aemond had to compensate for his older brothers weakness (at least in the show)
They were very loyal to their brothers.

Well, loyal in the "protective" sense with that case.
Daemon always tested Viserys, and Viserys let him off easy almost all the time, which isn't the healthiest situation but... overall, Daemon was "loyal" in the sense that, if his brother needed defending, he'd be there to aid him.

Have you guys noticed that the second son (Daemon & Aemond) are more capable to be king in both generations but still the first son becomes the king in both of them?
I'm not so sure if Daemon would be more capable to be king

Yeah, Daemon would've been a decent Master of War if he was allowed on the Small Council. Not Hand, not King.
As for Aemond, yeah he would've been a good king, though unfortunately, circumstance has left him (understandably) bitter after the situation with Rhaenyra's kids.
Outside of his gripes with Luce though, yeah Aemond overall would've been a decent King.

Both of them died defending the legacies of brothers who spend most of their lives degrading and underapeciating them. Now that is loyalty.
I never realized the similarities between them until watching this. I knew they had some things in common when it comes down to fighting, their mighty dragons compared to others in Westeros. But the idea of being the second son, the treatment they receive from their older sibling who sits the Iron Throne is something I never picked up on. Amazing work! Can’t wait to see more when House of the Dragon Season 2 comes out. Thanks for uploading.
