I really like the log in screen for Ubuntu Unity. It's very sleek and professional.
Great video, Stephen! I am thinking of using this as my second Linux installation (along with Fedora).

Actually, I really loved Unity's macOS-inspired style, it was very comfortable and fun to use. Brings so much memories of me trying and failing miserably to learn Linux/Unix as a kid when Unity was around. I'd love to see it back as an option.
    Great video, as always!

Stephen, I have an off-topic question for you bro, if you don't mind. Which laptop would you recommend for running Arch Linux and FreeBSD? Thanks bro and keep it up the good work!

For my own personal use, I've had good results from both the Dell XPS series and Lenovo Thinkpads (of course!), as well as recent AMD chipsets on Linux. FreeBSD is simply not a big enough project to compete with Linux on the driver front imho. So I just run it on VMs for server duties, where it's always been rock solid. Cheers! :)

@@stephenstechtalks5377 yeah, that's always the problem, drivers, :(( years ago I even started to port one SD card reader driver from linux to freebsd as a port (I'm a software engineer though) but then, I couldn't finish due to lack of time and lack of deeper freebsd architecture knowledge. It was working, just not within the OS standards. After that, I just kept using FreeBSD in desktops that I built my own with I had sure of driver support. Shame. BSD is far superior than Linux,. :((

does it have pipewire or pulseaudio?

Kinetic seems to have pulseaudio configured by default via "pactl info" command. Here's how to switch:

I tried both about 5 days ago ubuntu 22.10-beta and unity , ubuntu is good unity I don't think he's ready yet but that's a good start nautilus is bad on any destro this thing is missing a lot of obvious things I am on arch with gnome 42.4 the first thing I do is uninstalling gnome-software flatpak nautilus gedit eog and replace them with nemo xed xviewer because linux mint apps are that good nemo is the best file manager I hate both snap's & flatpak's app images are better but that's just me
