Love the setup for the trip. Every time I travel, I rock the same setup: rolling carry on, my backpack/mobile office with my MacBook and other tech/snacks (current backpack is the Pioneer Carry Savant pack), and my sling (Aer Go Sling 2) that I either keep on me or pack away for use at the destination. I also always pack a packable duffle for day trips to the pool, hiking, etc. My favorite packable duffle is the Bellroy lite duffle.
Nice overview. I’ve got the Day Breaker 2 in x pac and it has been an exceptionally comfortable EDC carry with 15-18lbs. of weight. Definitely my favorite bag they make.
The one thing I'm careful about with Coyote colors when traveling, especially overseas, is not carrying anything that looks too military. I don't want to be mistaken for someone traveling home on leave etc. if anything bad would happen. A lot of molle, camo etc screams "shoot me first" in certain situations
Smart. There are definitely places that you want to be aware of that. Iceland is not going to be a problem. Thanks for sharing that tip / it wouldn't be on a lot of people's radar
Really nice gear, I agree with you on AC, I wish they would not always try and match the colorway of their X-Pac, it becomes just too much. I really like their bags though, my fave being the Daily Plus. For me, my go to packing cubes are the Peak Design and the Tripped, which are almost identical to the PD. Which are a little cheaper in price and I like a little better than the PD cubes with their integrated labeling option.
@@ThePerfectBag I found them on Amazon about 5 years ago. I hope they are still there and going strong. Having them side by side I am convinced that they are both made in the same factory. Nearly identical in material and design.
is that the 35L duffel? do you think it can fit under the seat in front of you? I think putting a duffel on the ground is better because its bottom is designed to get dirty and touching the ground... whereas with your backpack either you're gonna get the straps or back panel dirty, or the front of the bag dirty, which are both not ideal... i think it makes more sense to put your backpack in the carry-on compartment, and the duffel under the seat during the flight
We love Iceland! The Land of Fire and Ice! ❤

Smart - I like the idea of a packable duffle - I don't own one
Have a great time!
That's the plan!!!!

It's so underrated
I’m really liking that coyote color. I often use duffels and that duffel is cool, better than my old beat up gym duffel bag.
yeah - this is an upgrade on my previous duffel.

I have to agree. I’ve started moving away from multicam (my fav) for this very reason. I don’t want to look like I’m going off to war.😊
Coyote x-pac and black trim, New classic
I like the Defy Bags Daytripper too bad you did not stand up and wear it to see it how it looks.
Alpaka just released 3 new items in Coyote xpac.
It's a coyote xpac kinda year!
That able carry is a looker
right?

I'm not familiar with tripped. Going to look that up.

This won't fit under a seat, alas - it's overhead for the duffel
Will that duffel fit the carry on sizer? That is a great looking set. 3-bag travel?
I'm about to find out! I'll report back.
Great vid. Do you have a link to buy the defy sling?
Yes, indeed. I'm adding links to the video description in just a few minutes.
I had none in this color, now I have two.
My right ear misses hearing the same volume levels
Hate it when that happens…it’s a setting that I sometimes mess up on the DJI mic. Sorry about that.
