The play itself and then how she got right back up and checked the runner at first, even though she was dazed by the dive at home.

Why because she is a player of color? A pitcher in the beginning of the video did the same thing. It's not correct to label something "the best" others will be offended. That is why most schools don't name Valedictorians anymore, and the ones that still do, sometimes the person gets up there and claims he regrets being number one!

Jmu is my dream school to play college softball. I was rooting for them before they even were ranked in the top 25! I remember texting my dad “Jmu is ranked 24th!” I’m so proud of how far they came and how well Odicci Alexander did. Every step of the way i was so excited for every single win, and I couldn’t believe how far they made it. Go dukes!
Do you live in VA too? I’m pretty close to JMU, thinking about going to it

There are some amazing highlights I enjoyed watching this tournament! Women’s Softball is so much more entertaining than MLB! Can’t wait for the Olympics!

I really enjoy women's softball, I think it's a lot more exciting than baseball, I'm just amazed at the underhanded pitching and how fast they are

The diving play that the catcher made was my favorite as a catcher because it is so hard to get momentum after your legs being so tired and coming out of that position.

I coach a 10u team, bases loaded line drive between first and second…. Ball hits the shoe of the runner going to second before without hitting the ground and ricochets (still in the air) to the SS standing on second base before the runner going to third got back to second….will never happen again
