    Awesome video! My wife and I are slowly moving in this direction, baby steps, but eventually want to be living off what we grow, forage, fish, and hunt for as much as possible.
    Excited to see your future videos!

    With everything y'all already do, y'all would probably never have to go back to the grocery store if y'all bought a couple of the hydroponic aeroponic systems. Some outside in warm months for y'all to preserve from and then one home unit to come inside to keep getting fresh stuff in the winter. I'm hoping to get me some soon and then y'all inspire me to find things in this new area I've moved too. Amazing pantry tour 😊

    Hi! Sam from @moderndayhomesteading here! I usually cringe when I hear or read people saying they want to live off the land. I don't think they realize all the sacrifices that go into it and how arduous but rewarding it can be. You guys are very inspiring and I need to know where you forage here in Western Pennsylvania because you've found some great things!

    • @HomegrownHandgathered
      @HomegrownHandgathered  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Thanks! Our foraging spots are kind of all over the map. Some of them are street trees in the city (Juneberries) and others are way out in the middle of the woods in the Laurel Highlands. We're just kind of always looking out for edible plants and when we find them we mentally mark where they are so we can come back when they're good to harvest.
