Saw them with Glen last Saturday with Megadeth and let me tell you I’m a Misfits fan for life now! They were awesome. I went to see Megadeth which were awesome as well.

I used to think Doyle was pretty awesome too (even though he must have hearing damage to create such an awful guitar tone & think it's good.) 😂 But I digress....
Unfortunately, he's kind of a tool. A few years back, he started charging $50 for stupid "meet & greets." Then, I think during an interview, talked crap about the fan's that paid for it so they could meet him. One of my bands opened for him & that's when I first heard he was doing that. He was also nowhere to be found except for when he was on stage & the stupid "meet & greet." I know he's always been kinda shy & doesn't like crowds. But years ago it wasn't that hard to meet him. Once, some friends & I arrived at a Misfits show way too early & the band was outside working out & we got to hang out with them for over an hour.
Kinda sucks when you've gotten to hang out with one of your favorite bands many times, & then they start acting like "rock stars" if ya know what I mean...
@@JakeStrange66 I do as well, I’m a musician as well and I have some story’s to tell myself! If I was in a famous band I would always take time to chat with people and thank them for liking what I do. 🤘🏽😎

I was thinking the same thing! It’s so hilarious how the guys that may initially seem big and scary and intimidating, at least to most people, are always the ones to have kind words to say and are very soft spoken. Very soft spoken!
Still have his and jerry onlys signature on a crimson ghost mask from a show in the early 2000s ! Epic Show!

Doyle was a blast. Fun gig for me. He’s a legend and yeah he’s truly ripped. Works out couple hours everyday on tour.

Does anybody else remember the guitar/bass company Oktober Guitars that used to make models similar to this? Think they might've endorsed Doyle for a minute? I know for sure that Cancerslug rocked those, whose singer Alex Story also fronts Doyle's solo shxt. Those basses sounded AMAZING and always wanted to get one so bad.

I just think it's unfortunate he went with DEAN... I'm sure the ones they make custom for his use are probably gonna be amazing but the ones they sell retail won't be nearly the same quality and they'll probably have a hefty price tag... I love Doyle he's on the top of my list of great guitarists and one of the few that's still living... It's good to see him coming out of his shell and doing interviews because I know he's deals with social anxiety which makes him come off like an asshole sometimes in interviews and social situations but he's really an interesting guy and got a lot of insight he could pass along to young guitarist just getting started...

Has anyone played that guitar? It looks awesome but I wonder how the vibrato and sustain are.
Caught his guitar pick he tossed into the crowd at Northern Lights in NY years ago, the venue wouldn't allow any form of moshing. The lead wasn't too happy about that and passive aggressively insulted us for standing around like dead ducks.
Still, bad ass show as to me it was the modern day Misfits just heavier....I can die happy.

Not my type of guitar..too pointy but man I love that story.....and both of you guys..I love the looks of pointy rigs but they aren't comfortable to play..I have a cheap Rhodes v and it's a pain to sit with or play but it's a low end Jackson it was 200 ten years ago
