Man listening to this song reminds me of when I was around 5 or 6 and me and my dad would listen to this song together. I remember the day he showed me the video and was so excited when I really liked it. As a baby he told me he would play cradle of filth on the TV and I'd sit and stare at it as if i was hypnotized. I'm 13 now and I just found this song again and the amount of memories both good and bad that came back to me was crazy. I mean the days my dad listening to this song while cooking in the kitchen for me and my brother on a nice afternoon. "Walk me to the graveyard" is the most memorable line because you could hear my dad from any room in the house yell 'GRAVYAAARD' and it was so funny. I really miss these days and I'd trade anything to either go back or live with him again. I don't get to see him very often anymore and I hate that. He's not exactly the same as he used to be. I want him to go back to his punk type phase. He listens to odd country music now or Viking metal. I don't mind that but my god he was so cool. He still is cool as hell but omg it was amazing. Love you dad. I wanna go back to this. you probably won't see this but if you do, you made everything worth it for me. -Sadie
During high school i would see tons of ppl wearing Misfits clothes but had never heard their songs, so i thought they must be some heavy hard core/death grindcore band. Horror punk pioneers Misfits visited Kubana festival in August 2013. Mikhail Gorshenev (Король и шут (King and Jester) band) has been their fan for many years. Many of you have probably seen him wearing Misfits printed t-shirts more than once. Jerry Only greeted the journalists at the press conference and said: Rest in Peace, Gorshok! In addition, Only honored the memory of Mikhail in a peculiar way, he wrote "Mikhail Gorshok" on his hand. He also expressed condolences to the fans and wished the members of the Korol i Shut band to take care. During their performance, Misfits dedicated two songs to Gorshok "Halloween" and "Descending Angel". 🤘

+Brandon Ingermanson I'm sorry dude but Jerry Only can't sing for shit. The songwriting has taken a huge dive as well. It's sad b/c there's an amazing drummer caught up in that hot mess Eddie Chupacabra and he's wasted on out of place time changes and drawn out rhythms that lose you about a minute in.
nope not at all :)
Misfits is and always will be one of my favorite bands. Me and my brother in heaven would rock out all day.
Wow...I have listened to Danzig before but never the Misfits, im really loving it 🤘

Glenn had a home in Jersey in the 90’s, I remember seeing him frequently driving around Ridgewood in his Corvette.
He born and raised in New Jersey, Lodi New Jersey
Jerry Only is your average NJ Dad (from what I heard).
Love. It.
Imagine being his kid and throwing that out as a crazy family story.
I love how Michale Graves gives his own spin on it and doesn't try to imitate Danzig.
To me they both are great singers.
Yeah, just like Bruce Dickinson didn't try to be Paul Di'Anno when he became Iron Maiden's new frontman - and just as Blaze Bayley after Bruce's departure for a couple years. All three very genuine and original frontmans, respected by all Iron Maiden fans... It would be great if the Misfits' fanbase didn't have those silly divisions, it's so much better listening to all eras and being grateful for every member's contribution to the band :/
I can remember listening to this with my dad when I was a kid, this was the beginning to fixing our relationship, I learned to love him through this.

I'm reading all of these stories about Michael Graves and how he interacts with fans... I met this MF tonight. Every single word is truth. THIS MF LOVES his fans and he appreciates them every single one. Don't let this Masterful Voice fall into oblivion. Support him like he supports you. Lyrics are pure, real and flows quite perfectly into that Taylor Acoustic he has at his fingertips. This man has a GOD given talent that he's using to the fullest! Wow! What a show!
he is also a nazi fyi
@@Tommy-TwigFan Yeah? I didn't see him sporting a swastika. I believe he even sang his heart out about America. Even sang Woody Guthrie's, "This land is your land". But I guess old Woody is a nazi too by your standards. So tell me. Are you just simply going with the status quo that the commie half of the country are spouting, or did you do your own research? I'm curious either way, really. The intelligent side of the planet still believes in freedom of speech, expression and, well... just Freedom. It's a cool thing to have. All the cool kids were into it back in the day. You should look in to it. Better than all that hatred you're spouting. And here I thought music was soulful. Not political. In case you don't understand what I just said... Music comes from the soul. Not some communistic, political ideology. But hey... Like, thanks for your opinion. It's not mine, but you're entitled to it. You're entitled to freedom too. You should look into getting involved in some of that. wink wink - nudge nudge

-Sadie
Tell your Dad so he can read what you wrote!! You both deserve it.
