Much better than the Axl adaptive vest placard that we first checked out to do this with. It actually looks like it is part of the K19. GHTG really did a great job in designing that. I have found something else to cry about. Now that you have figured out the best PC and Cummberbund setup on the market, you are out of a job reviewing PCs. LOL P.S. Had my K19 for about a week now and think the stock cummerbund is great, only gripe is the excess strap rolls are a little annoying but I'm sure I can take care of that easily if I ever really want to. Glad to have options like this though.
This item single handedly convinced me to go and save money up for the K19. I'm a big lad, and I mean a big lad. I've over the past two years been working out extensively and built up my body and muscles specifically to get the K19, but found out that with the original format of the K19 because of the Cummerbund did not fit me because it was too small to fit. With this neat little item right here, I finally have an excuse to buy a K19 and upgrade from my MEPC Carrier with their cummerbund. Now I'm going to have one of the best PCs that isn't the sunken money investment of a Crye, while also not being hindered by cheaper carrier design.

As someone who wears a carrier every day for work, I question a lot of manufacturers thought processes. Why wouldn’t their cummerbund allow for plate bags to be ran on the inner of the cummerbund? Why only have 3 x 3 rows of molle? The only thing agilite got right with the v3 is they incorporated a loop face molle front and of course, removable QD’s

I definitely put the buzz in their ear about having a cummerbund setup like the defense mechanisms one you got now since it's discontinued. I bought a hook and loop one off ebay as I couldn't find anything online that accepted the rock buckles. Hopefully agilite listens and tries their hand at a mesh full molle cummerbund like the one in this video.

The K19 is the EXACT SAME carrier as the Tacticon battle vest elite on AMAZON for over $100 less! Not similar to the K19 but exact same, from the same factory in China or Vietnam!
Also, and this is a bummer and no slight on either GHTS or DM, but DM seems to have discontinued the hybrid mesh version you have in the video, options now are either skeletal hybrid or elastic. Still good 'bunds, but you don't really solve any of the K19 issues with the full skeletal hybrid and GHTG adaptor since you don't have any more rigidity, you give up fast sizing flexibility, and add some bulk to the rear, though depending on size you select, you can get more MOLLE space. Likewise, the full elastic really isn't well suited to the K-19 with its focus on load bearing. Pro-tip, if you do go with the GHTG adaptor and Malice clips, orient it with the fastener end on the top. That is, if you plan on sitting and like your leather upholstery intact. Ask me how I know. :)
yo Walsh good video. i was curious could I place the VXVconcepts weave loop cummerbund on the Grim Hunter Tactical K19 Cummerbund Adapter so i could use a axl cummerbund on the k19?

If you have the K19 this would work perfectly with the javlin concepts elastic C-bund. I use the same jav C-bund on my hrt rac, took a length of onewrap to finish it, but it holds as strong as any conventional means. This solution with the k19 would work even better, basically a factory level of functionality.

Look at what size plates fit you. I'm assuming civilian and not military so we're not talking SAPI plate sizes. I'd have to see you but i'd be willing to bet 11x14 plates would fit you best. You just need a carrier that can hold that size plates. I'd suggest defense mechanisms...and we have a discount code! TLDco -Walsh
I love this plate carrier....my biggest hate to this plate carrier and the whole company in general is that they don't make anything in Navy Blue or LAPD Blue. I wish they would consider US LEO colors and make this for LEO patrol guys and still in uniform policy. My department allows us to wear whatever plate carrier we want as long as its Navy Blue or LAPD Blue. It sucks so much that one of my favorite plate carriers I can't use it on a day today basis on patrol.
What I like is it allows for options if your mission needs something more structural than the K-19 cummberbund offers. This way you do not have to buy an entire new PC, plates, and placard/pouches.
@@sethbrookes7244 I guess that's why I like the Agilite 'bund so much, it forces me to not hang everything and the kitchen sink off the sides. :) Reality is, most of us overload our carriers just because there's all that real estate we think we need to fill.

Love this idea the k19 is still a little two expensive for me still but still might buy it later when I do finally buy a k19

This is the way to go folks, the warfighter isnt all that. This way, u can install anything u want. Period
my only reservation was being limited to 3 mags on the small real estate of the K19. this solves my problem

I did the 5 and roc buckles for k19 so it matches. You could do the 3 if you wanted though
