Mine is on it's way. I actually had a bit of input on this one with Agilite over a year ago. They really do a great job. My thoughts are with everyone at Agilite and all of Israel. Stay safe!
The best part of Agilite is that every piece of kit is part of a system where each individual piece of equipment can be integrated seamlessly together to meet changing mission profiles. That's the long way of saying that Agilite kit is to use that overused buzz word, modular. Agilite kit is not only easily integrated with other Agilite kit it is easily integrated with most other quality brands. I have been a customer of Agilite for several years now and I have MANY Agilite products. I continue to buy from Agilite because Agilite products work. I have found that everything I have ever bought from Agilite is very well made with quality materials and everything is thoughtfully designed. While I still use quite a bit of other kit from other quality brands (Crye, Ferro, Blackhawk), I now consider Agilite as my number one go to brand. They seem to be innovating more than most other brands these days and that's great to see. I highly recommend Agilite products. For the record I do NOT receive and have never received any money or free kit from Agilite or any entity directly or indirectly affiliated with Agilite. I have provided some design input and feedback to Agilite.
I'm mounting one of these to a Shaw Concepts PC Panel as soon as it arrives! Then it can be QD to my carrier and I can access my own stuff! Currently testing this with a DM Recondite. Ditched the Flatpack a while ago. The Shaw PC Panel is truly wonderful.
sucks a bit I just built a whole new plate carrier and this nice backpanel wasnt out yet!! maybe on the next setup :) great video as usual, dude! (EDIT: 11:20 holy, this made me laugh out loud)
I like it.... The pac and the content creativity... For the record 3liters on your back is way better than it being on your hips especially since hydration is literally one of the main factors in the sustainability of life and movement.
Hey Walsh the design of the micro clearly delineates the fact that Israel is a very dry and hot desert where the weight of water is less a factor as it is consumed rapidly. Having spent years hiking in the Mojave and Sierras year round you really don't notice you water as by the day wears on you pack gets lighter and lighter especially in summer.
@@ThinLineDefenseCoI set up all of my hydro like that. I have bladders in my ruck as well as each of my 2 assault packs that I keep swapping between...it really makes a big difference
Note to self, don’t let Walsh borrow your bolt cutters. I like this option for those days the AMAP III is not necessary. Glad to have the water bladder hanger also! Jimithy!
I have a 3 liter on my back of my Agelite zero plate carrier. Around the 4th of July and beyond, when the drunks run out fireworks, they transition to bullets. I found that mowing several acres of my property (minus the woods), on a zero turn, bouncing around helps exaggerate back injuries. Additionally, if you take a drag of water, the hose heats up, before the cold water can be obtained. In other words, it reminds me of the Gen X sports drink, the garden hose.😵💫
lol Shawn reminded us how dumb we were on a live chat the other day. When you take a drink, breathe back into the tube to push the water back into the bag. No more hot tube water! -Walsh
I’ve got the amap 3 it’s decent but o have issues with the backpack straps stay coming loose. hope I can save for this or win one!! Excited for a water bladder
The "extra storage" of a firearm isn't really necessary for the wearer. It's more like recovering a fallen comrad's rifle or securing a found rifle found during SSE
Could you still shoulder your Amap 3 over the micro map? Thinking of using it a a way to store my hydration blader for a range day where the Rucksack normally stays in the shop. But then i wonder if it is possible to still shoulder the amap 3 over it?
Ok, nice use of the sandwiches, very nice! Extra con: Zero access to pack unless you- A - take your entire kit off to access content B - make sure someone is with you, “hey bud, you mine digging through my junk and get ___ out?”
The industry needs to make some kind of universal connection kit where any back plate bag can be attached and then flipped forward so you can access it, there’s TLDco’s next idea and product, I just want a small mention in the footnotes as like, special interests to design idea, maybe a short bud pic next to my name
@@ThinLineDefenseCo I have a sleeve that puts the plate flush on the back that’s Molle already, would be super handy if it fit inside that micro! Thanks for the videos keep them coming!
Ehhhh I'll say that it offers some expansion for the k-zero that I think is more team oriented. I would harp on having an AMP III first but then in a specialized team, I'd want my guys to have the micro map also. That really plays into having more functionality overall as a team though or being more specialized in what we do. -Walsh
agilite made a really good product, this a definitely going to be a go to for law enforcement who carry breaching tools or shotguns. i wish they could have made it compress even lower to what the flatpack can do. If youve ever spent time in the field youre always switching the bladder from your main pack to your pc or throwing your pack during a movement over your pc, this doesnt seem very great for conventional infantry. if youre a highspeed boi, larper, LE and dont need water its great not so much if you need sustainment. i wish it also didnt have so much velcro. as usual mission dictates gear :( cant have it all. if you dont have water on your pc youre gonna die before you even get to contact. if SHTF or youre going towards contact youre gonna want to have water on you. seen many marines go down cause they thought their nalgene bottle was enough water instead of having a bladder and being away from the staging area or water buffalo. a short raid can turn into a day assault real quick. black hawk down showed how well a "better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it" situation can go.
