Here is the CRC Cleaner I used in the video, along with a set of Torx screw drivers, in case you didn't have any. CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner: amzn.to/3e5SUYi TORX Screwdriver Set: amzn.to/3sF0htS
Thank you! My Check engine light just came on tonight so I had auto zone read the codes. MAF sensor cleaning code pushing out. I appreciate your thorough video!
Thanks for a detailed, informative how-to video. When it is something a person has not done before it is nice to have clear details to make the job easier. I am a old school shade tree me hanic so all sensors and electronics can be a little intimidating. I just want to be sure the MAF sensor is clean since I installed a K&N filter in the air box. The engine should be "breathing" OK.
On my 2021 Colorado it’s called IAT sensor for Intake Air Temperature Sensor. My truck had all those symptoms along with a check engine light. I changed the air filter and i must have damaged it. Chevy replaced mine and let me know I had a P0113 and P2199 codes. Thanks for the video.
I could yea. I will add it to my production schedule. In the mean time, if you want to see how to get access to the TB, check out my video where I replaced the stock throttle body with a Soler Performance one. th-cam.com/video/GCoqAgDXG4Q/w-d-xo.html
I got a code for my MAF sensor in my 2017 Chevy Colorado so I watched this video and replaced it and I believe I did everything correctly, but the code for the sensor is still on…. What should I do?
Strange-on my 2018 v6 Colorado, I had ZERO resistance when I removed the sensor! Just slid right out-no gaskets in the receptacle. I had a spare air box top where the sensor mounts and there weren’t any gaskets in it to give a snug fit. Cleaned sensor and I’ll see if there’s any difference. Anybody else.
Saw your messages on coloradofans.com, there should def be a gasket. The housing of the air box probably can vary depending on the vehicle, its just plastic. But if the screws fit and the sensor seems to work, I would send it. But def look into the gasket. That helps seal the hole on the tube from foreign particles and unmetered air.
Im getting P0171-P0174 on mine already checked got air leaks and nothing the truck is 2021 14k miles on it, just found this video hopefully my check engine light goes away

Can you do a video how to clean the throttle body

Code likely needs to be cleared. You can have an auto part store do it. If it comes back then it’s something else.
Love these educational videos
Thanks very much Kevin. Glad you enjoy them. Appreciate the view and the comment!

Mine came out easy as well with no resistance. I hope check engine light stays off. Did this cleanse work for you all?
@sylvesterwashington4489 yea it seemed to help smooth out my idle.
Cool man👍🛻
My 2022 doesnt want to give up the clip but im able to at least clean it. Gonna see how it works after
Hope you figured it out!

mine come out almost too easy
That’s ok. As long as you can clean it and put it back on tight
