So is it the high pitch sound or the thumping sound that indicates the motor is going out? Or is it the bearings going out?
I have a question regarding thumping noise, I can hear the thump sound everytime when the company sign(Reebok) which is on the belt goes around back or front roller, how I can fix that? Should I loosen or tighten the belt?

Is it making a thumping sound with each rotation of the walking belt? It could be a damaged belt seam passing over the rollers.

it sounds like the brushes need to be replaced they are built in the motor and are the main contractors of the armature it can be replaced at a cheap price at around 0-$30
This is actually the bearing going bad not the brushes. The motor can be rebuilt but by the time you figure in the labor for replacing the bearings and the brushes the cost is about the same as a new motor. So if your doing it yourself it may be worth it but in the long run you are better off replacing the motor.

Mohammed Wasi Like he advises in the video, it's best to replace the motor. Check on their website and you'll very likely find a replacement at a good price. I have replaced the motor controller and drive belt on my ProForm 540 treadmill. After owning it and using it often over the course of 9 years, replacing the controller was not a bad deal at all.

I have the same question. A brand new treadmill does it: I suspect it's a faulty bearing, but I would love to see a professional answer the question, really.
The thumping noise is just the seam of the walking belt going over the rollers. Nothing to worry about.
