i mean i both showcased what a microdash looks like vs a normal dash. As well as the start up animation so you can visually see when the dash happens and how to practice it. I guess i couldve showed the input? idk man
I think for me Microdashing is the only thing that's hard on Naoto because you gotta do it a lot while doing his combos in order to extend them(yes this character has the ability to make you destroy or dislocate your own fingers)also his buttons are not that hard, it just gets tiring overtime that you'd eventually drop your combos because your fingers might give up mid combo due to the amount of Microdashes you've done lmao but overall the hardest part about Naoto is his theme
Right now the 3C> 214A>66> en. Dp and 214A> into instant phantom pain (1:42) are whats killing me. I know practice is key but i maybe get the first one 1/20 tries, and I still have no clue how to get the instant phantom pain after swaying
@@jaycentVT yea i got that down, I can pretty much get 214A> 66> en dp off of any button that’s NOT 3C. I get it to come out but its way too late, by the time i dp theyve already recovered. Timing’s hella tight and i’m not sure how to get it down tbh
nevermind i just figured it out. You have to buffer 3C with whatever button you press beforehand. My sucess rate just shot for 1/20 to like 6/10. Now I just need to figure out how to get instant phantom pain and i’m honestly set
This feels more like you are just trying to show off your combos rather than actually teaching anything. Like, you didn't say anything. You didn't even bother to mention how to do the 214A buffer which is essential to complete any of these combos.
I lowkey thought everyone was over reacting when they said this guide or really this “tip” was unhelpful and doesn’t explain anything, but god it actually doesn’t. Like you just told them something that would learn in challenge mode by themselves or them doing 5 secs of research. You just explain literally nothing and proceed to flex combos on us With that being said, those combos was sick as hell
Do people usually go for the 214A dash or hold D dash in strings/combos. I get the micro dash but I’m talking about straight hits into block strings or combos.
I play on stick also. So how I do micro dash is I do a quick tap. Especially when i'm trying to do 5B or 5C with Naoto I have to return the stick to neutral
@@jaycentVT so do you have to cancel to get a micro dash off a heavy? or is there another way honestly it's the only problem I'm having trying to learn this character it doesn't help that I just started BBCF and came from FighterZ
@@wwalton Are you asking how to get a microdash 5C? Honestly it's 665C (input the dash then return the stick to neutral then press C) That's how microdashing in this game works. You dash and immediately go into the move you want to microdash. It's all practice and muscle memory. That's pretty much this character haha
@@jaycentVT oh don't worry I figured that out last night and Jesus is it difficult so until I can get that down "because who doesn't play Naoto for his combos?" I'ma stick with Ragna which is also Naoto so that's pretty funny and I already have a solid bnb with him thanks for the video btw
This videos is the equivalent to that one drawing tutorial that goes:
Step 1: draw a circle
Step 2: add details
Lol its that simple
This was the most helpful unhelpful guide. Like idk but it made Microdashing click in my brain.
>just microdash
>doesn't explain how to microdash

@@jaycentVT difference between heres how you micro dash and this is what the visual looks like
Here's how to microdash:
66. It's just that easy.
i think there are people looking for tips on when to buffer the microdash during certain combos like visual cues? Input display would be helpful too
1:38 the music sync with this combo is godly
Holy shit I didn't notice

You can whiff Rekka1 after 6[D] for more damage
Thank you for these. I gotta hit the lab with the homie
No problem man. All you gotta do is practice to get this character down

when you do 214A > 66 > en.DP input the dp as 23 since the buffer system allows that to be read as dp since you inputted 6 in the dash

Instant phantom pain as in sway > dash > phantom pain?
@@LaowPing Yeah exactly, at 1:42 where I timestamped it. Been having some trouble with that one

Yo thks for the vids man! I was about to drop the game till i saw your Naoto´s videos
Oh wow really?! Glad I was able to keep you into the game man! It's a struggle but its definitely fun!

Cool combos, bad guide.
Excuse me? How to make him easier?? this is exactly what you should be doing and even the game itself covers this much.
Or perhaps I missed the joke.
What song is used here?
It's Magnolia Eclair from GGXrd
Easier for gameplay, not my carpel tunnels.
Wut
So when you dash do you hold back to get the micro dash or is it a quick tap, I play on stick
