This video right here. I have wanted to like playing Naoto a little more, but some of his combos do seem pretty tough. This video has truly taught me that buffering is the real deal with this character and it is useful to do. Thank you for this video Jaycent. You are great
I appreciate the love! I honestly made this video for my friends who had an interest in Naoto and wanted to know how to do his combos. I never expected so many people to see this let alone help them
Yo this video really did help me out A lot cause I kept wondering how you were supposed to perfectly do the inputs but now this makes things much more open now. Thanks for that and also bruh what's this song/ost, this shit go hard.
For the enhanced DP you mention you can do 632632 on wakeup, but is it still a reversal that way; wouldn't you have to actually be dashing(and vulnerable) for one frame
His mixrodashes seem impossible at first and they are very much impossible. I really want to play him but I can’t even get his basic dash cancel stuff let alone this black magic level inputs. Any more over wall tips for the rest of the dash cancels
@@dylanlerian5960 Honestly it all depends on how much you're willing to practice and how much time you have As a beginner I recommend learning 4 combos to start off of 1 midscreen bnb as your go to 1 corner combo 1 combo off of a grab 1 combo that uses your meter as your big dmg combo then from there you can add on more combos once you become comfortable such as an overhead combo, air grab combo, overdrive, etc. Its all just building up your muscle memory as thats what is truly needed to play this character. You don't have to go for the more optimal stuff at first just start off with basic combos to get used to dash canceling then build upon them once you get comfortable
I don’t get it’s I understand the buffer. But like something just doesn’t not compute. The timing of the dash to input needs to be near instant which is fucking awful. Do you have any tips for that end because that’s what’s throwing me off. Even in simpler shirt it’s like a micro second too slow and it’s pissing me off
Honestly other than timing and muscle memory its just practice. There's really no way around that. As for what's throwing you off there's really a multitude of reasons why. If you input too fast the game doesn't register your input (because you're still in recovery), if you input it too slow then it would be too slow
oh really? I honestly preffer his jump cancel combos more than dash buffers haha just because I like ground to air combos but sway phantom pain is really stylish ngl
I’m still really confused. So I get the buffer part but my issue is that going from that to 66 236b is tough. It comes out enhanced but too slow what’s the timing of the other inputs after 214A. I really like him but I just can’t do these inputs I’ve gotten it off once successfully but idk how. I’m guessing you need to do 214a412366 b?
his gameplan is pretty straightforward and basic once you get him down. It's just the initial barrier on getting his stuff consistent is just a bit difficult. Still a technically challenging/demanding character imo but not impossible as some people may think
@@jaycentVT See, it's funny because phantom pain is a term that usually refers too the pain someone feels when they lose a limb, but in this case it's a pain someone feels when they lose the match. Yes I know I overexplained it but still lmao.
I dont even play Naoto, but i'll give nothing but respect towards this short yet easy to understand video
Thank you so much!

@@jaycentVT and you have succeeded. If you helped many, you definitely helped your friends
My bad for not watching this prior to making that comment on your other video.
This one is for sure much better and what I was looking for.
Thank you my good sir. You did well.
Glad I could help
I’m still lost since blazblue is my first fighting game and this notation stuff is weird to me. But it helped a little, thank you

This video is godlike!
Very helpful, thanks for the info
For enhanced dp you can do 6623d instead
thats for combo and thats what i did during the 3C 214A enDP. For wake up you can just do 632632D since you aren't able to dash while knocked down
AINT NO WAY ITS HIKARISHI XL

Just picked this game up and I’m kinda new to fighting games but I really want to play naoto see how this goes
Definitely give him a shot! Don't be scared of him is my recommendation. If you like the gameplay or the character then stick with it!
@@jaycentVT Same goes for me. How long does it takes to learn his combos and being able to pull them consistently ?

Any tips for buffering supers after enhanced rekka with the B version?
honestly other than a generic "input the super after the dash" what I do is 236B (final rekka hit) - 66 (dash cancel) - 32146D/B (super)
First of all, really thanks for this, second, what's the song?
No problem! Glad I could help! The song is called "Emergence" from KoF 14
Thanks you for doing is

Nice, time to lab Naoto properly this time.
Music name?
It's actually Rock Howard's theme from KOF 14!
This shit is way easier than long button strings for me. Bc jump bc finisher I drop more than dash buffers hah

i cannont get his 214a to buffer or the dash.
