Her NP generation looks like her weak point because she is not at the same level than Tamamo lancer, Vlad extra, Arturia Lancer or Brynhildr but the average generated is pretty solid, AQQ, ABQ, AQB and ABB generate more or less the same amount, so you dont need the classic AQQ to refill NP bar.
About ABB, the buster card hits 7 times, the output damage is insane, if in the previous turn you generated a good amount of stars you can use her fist skill to abs stars then chain and literally rip your foe apart.

Reasons I'm happy:
1. I gave up on her, so I grew to appreciate her Summer version, but now she's here (with Skadi to boot as well.)
2. She's hyping me up for her festival next year.
3. She'll pair well with Swimsuit Ruler Artoria to make the Bunny Ear Crew.
She is best a killing gil and ajuna due to her God slayer skill and she is a lancer

One of my first 5 stars, but still one of my favorites. The look, the kit, the DAMAGE. I pray for boss fights against Gil.
Got her today!! So nostalgic watching this review a year ago after starting fgo because I really wanted her
the reason lancer has average low attack is because they have a 1.1 attack modifier compare to other class like assassin only has 0.8. You also forgot to mention Black grail for CE for her. She will 1 shot bosses left and right with it due to her high NP modifier and god slayer skill.

Black Grail is good damage wise, but it doesn't solve the problem of her relatively low NP gen, so you are unable to use her NP instantly (unless you have two Waver in party).
If you need to use her NP on the first turn at maximum potential, it's probably better to use Halloween Princess (limit breaked), a Waver and another servant with a quick card boost skill (like Atalanta or another guest Scathach).
junk mail I'm pretty sure Lancers have 1.5 multiplier, pretty much the highest tied with Zerks (1.5 too). The ones with 1.1x multiplier are Rulers and Avengers.

Emperor Wasabi-kun lol, it’s cool. I really like looking up info like this so It’s somewhat second nature to me. I remember reading the lancer’s multiplier as 1.5 instead of 1.05 back when I started multiple times. It’s easy to to miss over the 0 :p
Hopefully we will get a small update video for her when her shadowland event buff comes around. Can’t wait for my lvl 100 shisou’s crit skill to be super reliable finally.

My first SSR servant. Had her team with Ushi. Both of the were really good.
Ushi and Scathach can buff each other attacks. And both have an evade skill which increase their survivability.
Right now I have other SSR servants so I don't use this team much. But back then it sure helped a lot.
3rd/4th day of the new year and I am happy to be able to check out this video, because I rolled her today on JP!
And I make sure to check it out before leveling her skills!

As for who is better between her and Okita, well, I think that they complement each other really well, since Okita can easily provide the stars that Shishou needs to charge her NP and Scathach herself is a really good quick support (both for herself and Okita). If you also add a couple of Fragments of 2030, a quick party with those two becomes devastating.
I wish I rolled her so I could make the dream team of Okita and Scathach happen lol. Thankfully looks like my entire friend's list got her
Well, that confirms my fears about her NP/Star Gen. And now, to roll for her!.........in 8 hours from now.
Great video as always. I'm a f2p players and I pulled her by using all of my 120 quartz's :) I have gotten a lot of CE's as well as Altera and Medea (Lily).

nickname? thats the official japanese pronunciation. clearly says he will be using the japanese pronunciation and not the gaelic one. Not sure whats so hard to understand there really.
Yeah well he goes so far out of the way to leave us in the dark on JP's stuff and he's not calling Siegfried Jikufruido in his video. It's silly inconsistency.
Got her on 2021 new years banner, such a pleasant surprise. Now my Shishou trio is now complete.
If it's not too much to ask, can you remake the review? since she got a pretty nice Strenghtening a few days ago and the release of Skadi made up for the inconsistent NP gain

@@johnathanera5863 Cu is a pseudo-tank dps or soloer, Scathach is a nuke pointman dps that can solo, their roles are different
@@Founder_of_Morgans_Fanclub except they arent. Break bars killed nukes for the most part and cu has comparable nuking damage to sca due to easily obtaining np5 and sca's real big burst damage being dependent on an enemy being undead or divine, cu does rediculous damage to everyone. So anything sca can do cu can do better or at least as well and easier with less investment. The ONLY thing sca has going in her favor is the stun on her NP, which IS big but cu still beats her out when it comes to survivability.
Unfortunately the only thing she's good for nowadays is raids. It's why almost no one uses her...because she isnt good.
@@johnathanera5863 have you used Scath? Her NP damage is far, far higher than Cú's even if he is NP5, and undead/divine is a bonus (and divine is a common trait). Scathach also has NP battery and can crit, so she has a lot of things over Cú. Cú's main thing over Scathach is survival, but as a dps he lags far behind (and while both of their NP gain rates aren't specially amazing, Scathach has higher NP gain in practice thanks to having more hitcounts on her arts card, having buster cards capable of generating NP and really good extra card. Star gather also means easier crits for NP gain and she has a small battery)
@@Founder_of_Morgans_Fanclub she only does more damage if she's better than np1 she does not out damage cu in my experience, at least not significantly. I have her np1 grailed to 100 with all skills maxed and with 2000 bonus stats with fous. Shes my favorite servant. Cu' NP regularly hits for 130-150k about the same as sca if shes not using her 3rd skill. I dunno, maybe I'm using the wrong CE on her. Also I play on NA so she doesnt have the battery yet, yes I imagine that will help quite a bit. But then again it's only a 20 percent battery, usefull, but not anywhere near game changing.
I've not seen a difference between the two in crit potential or star generation in actual gameplay, so I'm not sure by what you mean by sca can crit, I mean she crits harder due to her buster cards, but cu's crits still do comparable damage. If I had to give the edge it would go to sca I'd agree but the point is cu is comparable in every way if not better while being way easier to level and get ready for challenge quests or solos. Sca is way more niche in her use and its why you see cu soloing every boss and not sca. Because shes simply not as good. And yes divine enemies are not uncommon to see but far more often than not that 3rd skill of hers is absolutely useless. I agree with the extra card, it is good.
Also as a bit of a side thought while yes sca may out damage cu in normal card damage, in FGO survival IS damage, so since cu can survive longer then her, he ends up putting out more damage over time anyway.
I ended up pulling her with my 2020 NA GSSR. Yay!

Just got her on tuesday earlier and finally i have a reason to grind FGO for my beloved
Will use some tickets and a 10 roll (or two), but my primary hope is for a 2030 CE. Shisho would be a nice bonus, but Liz is supporting my lancer niche for the moment.

Scáthach always will proves Gilgamesh his inherent mortality; and Tamamo Summer, that he still being a man, like anyone other.
This makes my fourth 5 star lancer. Ereshkigal, Brynhildr, Karna and now her.
While with the multi health bars makes one shotting bosses harder combine her with Merlin and Waver and you chain stun major bosses pretty easy was doing that with the Gorgon boss in Babylon

After 4+ years, she's finally came home, and i finally can watch this video
She's the first 5* I got, so has been the one I've been relying on to carry me through farming to strengthen the team in general. I find she falls short when fighting the high HP bosses, but that may be due to my thin roster not being able to properly support her yet.

Just got her on the 2021 GSSR New Year Banner XD. She's on of my list of SSR I wanted to summon. I'm so happy, especially since she's getting her bunny outfit.

I am immensely happy rolling Okita and fully content. I'll put two tickets towards Scathach and that's about it. She returns so often in the JP version it won't be surprising seeing her again after three months in the US version.

Two tickets equals black keys and a gold Lancer. Liz came, making her NP5. At the moment I felt Scathach was mocking me, I used my wallet to solve the problem.
3 tickets later and Shishou comes home :3

Great review! I have a CE question. Would After Lunch Party be a viable good CE on Scathach? At Max Limit Break it increases the effectiveness of Quick and Buster cards by 15%. She has most of those types of cards in her deck and her Buster hits the most times I wonder if that would be a good CE to use on her even though it wasn't mentioned in the review?
Yes, that is also a good option especially if you have it limit broken.

Scathach, I think she is much more versatile and has way better skills. But they aren't that far apart from each other.
Yep, if you count out skills, Bryn seems way more consistent. My gripe with Shisho is how odd her kit is having "random" buffs, low hit quicks but high hit bursts all while being a "quick" character.
"Queen of the Shadow Realm"? Didn't know Scathach was a Yugioh character. And if she's the queen, getting sent to the shadow realm sounds like a pretty good deal now.
Just got her Last night. Lv 90 already and working on 2/4/6.
The Gudao CE from the last event is absurdly good when it's MLB'd. Seriously. It let me solo the final day of the event with Emiya even with the presence of a Lancer (vid for that coming soon--forgive the shameful self-advert xD).
I kinda don't expect much from the upcoming Zero Lancer and owner of the inferior Caladbolg (though with how he's able to satisfy Medb, I kinda wonder if Caladbolg is actually his second biggest sword mwehe) :P

Tbh I wouldn't go for the London servants that hard, they are not limited so some will spook you in the future for sure.

Hey man awesome vid! Waifu/Husbando preference aside: who is better Scathach or Ozymandias, especially in boss-killing, overall team-versatility and in the later parts of the game? I'm deciding who to roll for in the summon campaigns in the next two months and they're both coming up.
Ozy, he is easily Gil tier in terms of power and usage. He is ST and has imperial Privilege with a guaranteed chance to activate so he can boss kill very effectively and tank a bit, and his versatility and power only spike later on when the buster meta and Merlin take control whereas Quick servants like Scahach are a lot weaker late game because they lack a top tier support like arts and buster have

i managed to pull scathach along with jeanne in one roll and hell she makes farming archer monuments alot easier since she can one shot gil or tear gil a new one but also helpful on killing or give charm/stun spammers taste of their medicine

Hey Soberoni, I love and agree with pretty much all of your spotlights (except for saber shiki because I think she's underrated for wave-clearing), and without making you go too into detail and spoiling other future spotlights, (apart from the break bar mechanic and quick teams being very under-supported), are there any other reasons why you'd put other top tier lancers above shishou? Because she's one of, if not my favorite servant besides Jalter and I'd like to roll for her and use her in the late game. Any advice or feedback would be appreciated, thanks
I plan on making a whole video on it sometime soon, but basically her NP gain is just horrible. It really is just a shift in the meta, it's much more favorable to have servants that can NP spam then servants that are just one-and-done. Even so I still think she is better than most people say, I'd rank her 4th best, still ahead of Karna imo. People tend to exaggerate how bad she gets, she is still very strong, just not as OP as she used to be. I recommend rolling for her, if they ever buff her NP gain or give a good quick support she will jump back to number 1 lancer most likely.
