Jack is great. She literally just shits out stars.
I'm glad i got her when i rolled Jeanne Alter. Crit Busters all the way.
Jack has decent survivability, and all that stars she generates is extremely good.
Of course, i only use her against challenge quests or some other quest that has Riders.
Anyways, Jack on both my Main and Alt. Its extremely good.

She’s the best Crit star generator in the game. I like crit teams. It’s a no brainer that I’m going to roll for her. I’d say she is adorable if it wasn’t for the lack of pants and that sorry excuse for underwear. She’s keeping the damn cloak on at all times.

Just got her from a Ticket! she's my second 5 star. first was okita which i got from a single pull twice(still cant belive it) i never wanted neith jack or okita. But, I am more than happy and willing to cherish them. I just hope i can get my queen Shuten when she is released. Thats when the spending start

On my very first day of playing I was given a 10 roll. And I got both Jack and Emiya! Found your video because I wanted to know if she was any good happy to know she is! I know Emiya is not the best but with the two of them combined especially with me being new to the game it is awesome!

Frankly, I see her more as your main attacker, and not a support that is here to generate stars for you, mainly for the fact that she benefits the most from the stars she generates, since it allows her to constantly spam her NP thanks to her ridiculous NP gain, which hits very hard against Riders and a lot of female enemies. This is also due to the fact that her having 3 Quick cards and a Quick NP means you have less Buster cards to do Buster combos with your main attacker, and you want to do a Buster chain for maximum damage, and both her NP effect and her first skill gives her a more aggressive kit rather than a support one (though she still has support skills of course). So in the end you end up making much more use of her as attacker and less of the other attacker because you have less chances to optimize your damage output with Busters. This is the experience I had with her so far in the game as I have her and used her a lot of times.
This is why Cleopatra in JP FGO is probably the best support crit star generator for teams built around Buster crit monsters, due to the fact that she has 2 Buster cards and a Buster NP which allows more chances for those chains (and she can even do one herself if necessary), and even with that her crit star gen and NP gain is also ridiculously good due to her hidden stats and skills.
If I get her. I will never pull again(until enkidu as I love Gilgamesh and him) also I can use her on a crit team with gil kun and waver
I got, as the free fuyuki clear 5-star, Jack for the supposed boost against female servants lore gives her, repeated against Salter and Jalter... was shocked when she 1 turned them using 2 Quicks and Maria... stayed as a Jack main cause she erased Herc's buffs letting me defeat him at level 20-30-30 with Spartacus, Jack and Mash... nothing more satisfying than sticking [Art of Death] as her Craft Essence and watching her nuke most human sized foes...
Finally got her after 3 years! Although.. I'd still keep my grailed Shiki on my support setup for reasons.
I was once so lucky that I got Jack The Ripper out of a single roll in the STORY gacha. Yes, really. She became my very first 5* servant. At times, she can generate so many crit stars that you can literally guarantee EVERY card to do crit damage. At times, you'll even find yourself have so many crit stars that you can't use all of them (50+), which means that you will have a few spare stars for the next turn.

Bad luck so far. Wasn't able to get her during her dual rate up with Jeanne.
Will try again during her solo rate up this week. Otherwise, I will just wait until the next Gurranted summon for a 5-star assassin.
Update: Managed to get her around 30 rolls. Leveled her up to Level 80 using the Event Store and Mana Store embers.
Since I already used up all my apples grinding the raids, will probably be saving up embers via the daily ember quests until the next Exp success rate up to get her to those last 10 levels.
Can produce crit stars like no other but apparently can't put on any pants.

I got Jack the ripper out of random and I was screeching like crazy so I was like I regret this and was gonna rip her but I decided to keep her.
A. Honestly, I see her paper thin defense as a balance to her insane damage output
B. How does she have anything to do with Christmas, outside of being released at the same time as the current event?
A. I do too, they tend to do that a lot with characters. It is rare for a servant to have both high HP and high atk, they usually operate in extremes of one degree or the other or right in the middle.
B. She has nothing to do with Christmas lol. She has to do with London, and my guess is since the Christmas event and London are back to back they just used Christmas as an excuse to release her early and get people spending quartz.

I'll drop a few summon tickets on her but that's it. While there's still a fairly long way to go for the Illya gacha, I'd really rather not have to whale for her so my saint quarz will stay where it is right now for a while. If I ever need a Jack, there will be plenty available in my Support list, I'm sure.

I know she's good, but I've never rolled for her. My chaldea was severely lacking in 5 star assassin power until I got Kama. Don't think I'll ever roll for an assassin again.

I'm going to disagree with you about putting crit star generating craft essences on Jack. I always chuck a 2030 on her and it always works out. Depending on what team I use her on there's a rare chance that I'm going to have a quick chain from her and gain like 48 stars in a turn, so I still think that using a 2030, or crit star generating craft essence on either Jack or Shiki assassin is ideal.
When I do get a quick chain from her it's overkill but on a normal turn it works out so well

I gues its either u run 2030 or you run her and then run CE's that increase damage or run both and get 50 stard every turn and never miss a crit...:o
The most optimum number of crit star you should get is 50. More than that, then you're wasting it.
Edit: Like oni said in the video, she can make more than 30 star with her non crit quick chain. So I guess 2 2030 is an overkill.

pitwan desu yes, you can't have jack chain all of the time. But he asked wether 2 2030 would be effective or not. That's an overkill. It would be better for a crit team to have balance (generator, hitter that can use those stars, and a balanced hitter/generator).

Im not SoberOni levels of veteran, but I'd say maybe replace Waver or Jack if you plan on making Lancelot the center of your team
The main reason being their decks will clash hard. QQQAB, QAAAB, QABBB. So it will indeed be hard to pull off certain chains. I'd suggest Leonidas as a tank cuz he has a QQABB deck, or Caesar for more dmg. Wu Zetian might be good too for Quick Buffs.

Just got her earlier tonight. After wasting 180 SQ trying to get her, I decided to throw my last 3 SQ at the banner in a single summon, and who should show up but Jack the Ripper? Probably not who prostitutes in Whitechapel wanted to see at night in the late 19th Century, but I'm happy with my encounter.

Thanks. I haven't played the JP since the NA came out. My luck was abysmal on the JP. Didn't get a single five star in the full year that I had played it. On the NA however, I've gotten Arturia, Altera (three times even), Orion, Drake, Okita, Scathach, and now Jack.
Was trying to get Passionlip but got Jack instead. Mix feeling about it but I feel the Gatcha gods are telling me it is not time to get Passionlip in the CCC event now in NA version. Disregarding Class, who is better Okita Souji or Jack? Both seem fundamentally the same. But I feel that female Bosses, especially Beast Kiara and Beast Kama, Jack should shine against them.

I got Jack from a summon ticket without really expecting her! Could you let me know how well she'd work on a team of Scathach and a level 90 Lancelot? Shishou seems like a decent mix of quick support and buster-crit/some star generation (and potent NP), and Lancelot has his star eruption AoE NP and subsequent buster-crit rampage (basing this off of your excellent reviews of them), so would Jack and her insane star generation complement them well? What is her role on a team like this, does she support those two through crit stars, or do they (mostly Shishou) support her as a damage dealer through her crits and NP spam? Can those two roles be synergized effectively? Thanks!
Spiralistic Hope92 definetely. I would say Lancelot is the most effective zerker for quick team in NA server atm. The fact that he is berserker + his skill + his deck make him a top tier damge dealer since ruler class and shielder are rare in the game. The only downside is.. as you already know.. he is a glass canon. So giving him some survivability surely help a lot. Other servant that you can consider for a quick team definitely are Okita, Gilgamesh, Atlanta, Hans and Waver

My only other SSR besides Scathach and Jack is Jeanne sadly, and while she's a fantastic tank and safety net, I feel like she doesn't have the synergy I would like to work well with Shishou and Lancelot or Shishou and Jack, though both of those teams are still reasonable I think. Do you think she's a good fit with my other SSRs and/or Lancelot? I also have a fully ascended Emiya,, who does actually produce a decent amount of stars even with his more glaring weaknesses in other areas, so maybe he'd fit well in a more Arts-centric team with Jeanne?
Buster-crit teams are the ones I like most in terms of strategic layout and tactical enjoyment, but I'm not sure I have a good enough team composition for it, which is why I was wondering if the Shishou-Jack-Lancelot mixup could work. Keeping him alive really is the glaring issue, as you said.
Spiralistic Hope92 I see.. imo Jeanne is more suited for an Arts team due to her deck, NP yadayadayada. However.. you still can experiment her with those servant. Different servant combination+different CE sometime would produce different result.
Emiya imo is more suited as c.star user since he is an archer which have high star absorbtion. My Emiya in Jp acc can deal 70k+ crit damage for buster card. Surely you can do more given the right buff and CE. Overall he is pretty decent and will become better for the long run since he will get skill upgrade. However remember Gil is better than him at every aspect.
Buster crit team is very good due to the damage that they can dish out. But if you plan to use berserker as damage dealer need to remember that they have the lowest star absorption rate among all classes. Archer and Rider are the class that have high star absorption and their passive skill suite well with role as crit damage dealer. Among good servant with heavy buster deck that i can remember are Gil (of course right) and Drake. Anne Bony&Marry Read also good at utilizing those stars because of her skills. Well.. the tip for quick team is just to produce enough star so your damager can utilize it. FYI 50 c.stars (if you didn't know) will surely give 100% crit rate (not damage) for each command card. That's why normally people would go with 2 c.star engine+c.star utilizer. C.star engine+utilizer+waver/hans also great since these casters' skills boost crit damage. Even low tier servant can be broken if you can use this composition. I've watched Jp server player used Kojirou and Sanson solo the demon pillar by relying on the c.star+damage boost. I hope that my insight do help you. Im myself not a pro at this game, but I do love trying new team compo everytime. Guess that's what help me undertand a little bit how the gameplay works and develop my own play style with different set of servant.

Thanks again for the response! Your English is very good, I think you said everything with a lot of clarity and explained your reasoning well! I didn't see many real mistakes, just minor things like "in every aspect" instead of "at every aspect," both are correct but the former is used more, usually. Maybe for sentence construction, saying "that's what helped me understand how the gameplay works a little bit better" is preferable to "help[ed] me under[s]tand a little bit how the gameplay works" but besides minor things like that, you're fine!
I'd heard about Emiya becoming much better down the line with the Magecraft skill buff from the interlude (if it is an interlude?), so that's good, since I am somewhat attached to him since he lead my line for the first four months of NA before some luck finally came my way and I got the waifu of my dreams (Scathach). I'm glad I invested in him now since you say he's capable of that kind of damage! I'd have liked Gilgamesh instead of course, but alas, he didn't come from all my remaining rolls after Shishou (but that's fine, she's the one I really wanted).
What I like so much about Lancelot is that he has the skill that makes him collect the stars he can produce from Knight of Owner, which is awesome, it negates the Berserker class having crappy star weight at least. I have Read&Bonny max ascended, and I like them quite a bit as well, especially because of that NP nuke that can annihilate bosses if her health is very low. It's a risky setup, but she can be so valuable because of that. Beyond that, she seems decent on a crit team as well, for sure, so good to know! I knew about the 50 star cap, and I gotta say, Jack really is a game-changer in that sense, she's just unbelievably good in producing stars, getting close to (or above) 50 is so much more likely with her (as the video said), it's brilliant! One of the things I do like about this game is how important team composition is to strategy, along with the tactics revolving around skill usage, because as you said, even using lower-star servants can be amazingly effective if done right, which is pretty damn good game balance and design. I do wish I had a good caster or support unit to help boost crit damage, though I at least have many CEs that help there, and Oda as a welfare servant is also really good for crit-buster teams it seems, though not a support (and I like her too, a good bonus). Still, I'll try seeing how Scathach, Jack and Lancelot work together, I hope they can synergize well for now. Jeanne can be in my backline as a safeguard.

Yes, first you see low stats but thats the only bad thing.
Yes. Jack is the best Star gen servant in the game; She is so broken in some situations you can NPQQ and generate enough NP gauge to NP again in the next turn as you said; NP gauge is godly too.
I agree 1st skill CD is too high, but its the same attack buff from Okita or Scatach + evasion;
her 2nd skill is awesome, the dispell is so great to cut annoying/stacking buffs of certain foes/bosses;
the heal is not too high 2.5k but it is targetable and the CD is low, 4 turns
Maria the ripper is ranked 3rd NP dmg in the current game (only Scathach and Kintoki deals more dmg) uselful always vs females and you will enjoy taking down bosses over 200k hp like Marie (rider's dailiy) or Drake with a single NP.
I will roll for her, not cuz event's buff but she is top tier servant, if you are F2P and you has a few SQ+tickets, dont worry, she is not limited servant and i believe she will have another rate up in the new years and Valentines
