For a FWD without a LSD you seem to have great control over the 400HP. Sometimes my NA Civic feels like it's pulling all over the place so I think you've done some good laps considering.

I’ve had bad luck with protex. TRW are 5x better than PROTEX. There 700degree pads and always have your pedal back the next corner. And there cheap. Trust me TT go TRW, and there great when there cold which is great for the street

You need some driving gloves and sunglasses to make life easier from a fatigue factor. I wouldn't have pulled over for the other cars, you were toasting them for acceleration! If they are quicker in the corners they will pass, that's half the fun. Old motorbike trick is never look back or in the mirrors! Eyes on the prize, the fast guy or girl will pass if they are any good.
