Holy cow!! How many times has a gawdy piece like that made into the landfill because it's just so stinking outdated? And then look what you did to it!! It's incredible!! You have an amazing eye!
Outdated is EXTREMELY IN NOW. one of the reasons is because a dresser from the last 20 years is not solid wood and is in the landfill because the drawers broke. Mid century modern is what everyone is denanding especially vinetage and not copies of vinetage like most designers are doing. I would kill for this peice even before she did her magic
This transformation was perfect! I have been experimenting with black stain, and the results have opened up more ideas for furniture pieces. Keep up your amazing work!

Yes you are very thorough. It's important especially if you are selling the piece. I have seen other TH-camrs who only focus on painting pieces that you see but not the inside. I do that too but I repaint furniture for my home only

Ok, I know that I have commented on several of your videos tonight but I just had to thank you for saying that if you add a little green to white wash it helps with the pink color you get from redwoods. I white washed these little end tables and they came out pink, which isn't a bad color but not what I was going for. You're so smart!
