DISCO is now one of my favorite Trek shows next to TOS, TNG and DS9. I haven’t decided if any of the other new era Trek shows will join that list yet. I am still sorry that DISCO couldn’t get a few more seasons but glad that we had these wonderful five seasons.
Of course Michael Burnham would decide to lock the Progenitor's information away.
She is by education and upbringing a Vulcan, and it is the logical thing to do as IDIC exists 🖖🏻

Great review as always! I too am sad to see the show go... because without its success, there wouldn't be Strange New Worlds, Lower Decks, Picard and the new show, Starfleet Academy. ( I didn't forget Protegy ). I'm looking forward to seeing SNW season 3 and the Section 31 movie in the future.
I hope that the Fandom will learn to appreciate Discovery as they have with the rest of Trek.

Considering the circumstances I think they did a decent job on closing the remaining stories (apart from the tie-in to Calypso, that was really badly done in my opinion).

I hope so! They still haven't announced when and how to watch Prodigy from where I am located, unfortunately.
Happy to see this show end. After season 2 it totally lost me, but I reluctantly continued, hopeful it would improve. It started off In the wrong time frame to begin with, then had to move into the future where it honestly should have taken place. I would have enjoyed it more if it hadn't tried to connect itself to TOS. But at least we got Strange New Worlds out of it. So that's a plus.

You Americans obviously love any Star Trek series that comes out. But this is New Trek. On closer inspection, DSC is full of lazy writing and extreme emotionality. The series is told in an irrational and completely illogical way. Numerous opportunities to tell an intelligent and inspiring story are missed. From my point of view, Discovery is an insult to everything that made Star Trek great. I am sorry...
