Not if you're a beginner but it isnt impossible as a beginner. i recommend building hgs just to get used to the building process and rgs have inner frames that small so there are a lot of parts that need caution. i collect mostly MGs so it's harder due to number of parts but it does have a bigger scale.

Glad I'm not the only one who has that problem with the MG's buster rifle! The Master Grade Gundam Wing EW was my very first non-sd gundam (prior to it I had only built 3 sd gundams, 2 of the sd only ones and the sd version of wing ew), just recently dug it back out (to shave off all the nubs and correct mistakes) and the buster rifle is really annoying me

Great review as always, actually building this kit myself. Going for my first painted RG. However, I'm only painting the frame where it would be stickered so as to avoid damaging that fragile Action Frame. I like how it's coming so far, but the multiple shades of similar colors present their own challenge, by slowing the work flow. I don't trust myself to fly without the instructions on an RG just yet. But you pretty much confirmed what I already knew. That I was going to love this kit from start to finish.
+PhantomGett A tip... Don't paint the inner frame of GunPla; especially for RGs. The RG frames are very fragile as it is without any painting. Paint will stiffen up the joints and make them even more fragile.
+xxnike629xx I've painted some of the HG inner frames without issue, but I had that thought with the RG frame and wasn't going to attempt it. Only painting the exposed areas that would have been sticker covered anyway. Thanks though!
i just got done building this kit, i agree with you on everything. unlike the rg freedom i didn't have weight and balance issues and non of the arms/hips/knees, etc. seem to buckle or settle and sag under the weight of the accessories.
Hey V3, when you topcoat your RG's, do you mask the eyes with tape, or do you just spray right over them? Just wondering if the flat coat will mess with the foil look. Thanks.

Type v3 you made a mistake. The wing ew rg is based of the wing Gundam. Not wing zero. Wing EW is a Gundam the would have appeared in endless waltz but didn't. This gunpla is to show what it would have looked like had it aired

I'd actually go for the gundam mk Aeug, I helped a friend build the RG kit and it was a good solid build, the accessories were about average I'd say, the the articulation was pretty good, and it did look awesome when posing it. The only trouble I had with the kit were some wires I had to put in the back of the kits legs, luckily they weren't much of a major piece and was able to continue building the gundam, overall, I definitely recommend the RG gundam mk 2 Aeug.

+Shelf I'd recommend a HG 1/144 model kit, probably something like the revive RX-78-2, HGCE Strike Gundam, or HGAC Wing Gundam. Those are some very nice model kits that are not super complicated to construct, but are great deals for their price and good entry points.
+Shelf If you're just looking for a model to build, the new Iron Blooded Orphans line (from the show of the same name) features fast, fun builds at low prices with great gimmicks. Other than that, look to the rest of the more recent High Grade lineup.

+Prasta garnika The Full Cloth and the SBS put different concepts on display. I have both as normal HGs. The Full Cloth has a heavy emphasis on close-range with the beam markers, boxing glove I-field generators, and heat knives, but it also has the Peacock Smasher and Muramasa (makes Kylo Ren's hilted lightsaber look cute) for shooting and slashing. I would recommend this kit especially to those who like a little paint, since some of the stickers, especially the ones for the Cloth's thrusters, can be a bit of a pain to apply. The Star Build Strike is a great all-rounder. The only thing it's really missing is a physical sword (something I addressed through use of the 3D printer my library branch had for awhile). I would caution you that I never figured out how to use all the Plavsky wings, so I don't know if you will. It was also my first build, so I ended up with knee stickers that peeled off -- so I painted them over. Truthfully, I think my SBS is more powerful than the Strike Freedom. It really depends on what you want out of your gunpla. You could get both.

Prasta garnika Why the P-Bandai version? The regular HG is much less expensive, and then you can paint it blue to simulate the RG system. I don't know if the P-Bandai comes with the Power Gate, but you don't really need it anyway.
well yes it comes with the sparkly yellow gate, and cost 2x the normal, ,.. hmm yeahh, ..the reason why i about to choose the rg system one is the blue,clear, glow in the uv light inner frame(im a sucker for things that glows).. but yesterday i find a good paint, hmm,.. ahh forget the hg, i just realize i will take the mg instead... and do you have paint thinner recomendation?? because i want to use that paint for panel lining.. its acrylic base.. thanks bruh :)
+SoulReaper287 Apparently there's nothing you can do, you just have to handle the kit carefully. If you happen to break the inner frame, depending on the location, you can cement the broken parts together with Mr. Cement or any super glues.

I still miss v3 review. Especially for the RGs like sazabi, nu, hi nu, unicorn, etc.
The grain and shiny metalic paint on the inner-frame and the shield looks as good as how diecast kit looks. A solid Endless Waltz katoki wing zero. :)

Yeah I was trying out a different brand of paint and didn't realize it was thicker+had some texturing to its finish. Oh well, you live and learn.

No. Instead, they have RG Decals. It's basically just transparent decal and foil stickers fitted into one sheet.
