- Almost a year ago in June 2020, Bill and Melinda Gates gave one of their final interviews before their announcement today that they are getting a divorce at the Forbes 400 Summit on Philanthropy, discussing plans to make sure that Covid-19 treatments and vaccines don’t just go to the highest-bidding nations but are distributed equitably.

I thought the same! I actually know these two. The body language was very telling wasn’t it? A friend of mine sent me this video today. I watched it and immediately said it’s there, in the video. You can see the distain in Bill when Melinda speaks. She actually did a better job at paying good attention to him when he spoke than he did when she spoke. He had his lips pressed together and his blink rate went way up. I found it interesting because they were sitting so close together. I guess it was because they were on a laptop camera. Still, I have never seen this before. Clearly there was a lot of stress between them.
I feel terrible for them. It’s too bad. They are two people with wonderful intentions and have dedicated so much time and resources to the betterment of our world. It’s a shame. Two good people with good intentions. It makes me sad.

I think you are very close to the truth of the matter. Personally, I think Melinda is trying to get away from Bill before he ends up getting HER in trouble. Been there, done that - that's one of the reasons I filed for divorce myself. My ex was doing stupid idiotic things for which I did not want to be held responsible. Bill's association with Jeffrey Epstein was certainly not a bright move on his part. Melinda probably knows much more incriminating details about that situation than what we know on the surface. If Melinda has been consulting with divorce attorneys since 2019, she has probably hired private investigators as well.
