Sir...... if we added two magnet it just gain more power right..... 2 is stronger than 1.......... so do we really need to do like you just do in this expiriment
I noticed if I have 2 sets of Neodymium magnets. One set has a 1 inch piece of non magnetized steel at the pole end on. If I bring the other magnets with the opposing pole towards the steel then I feel repulsive force but as I bring it even closer the magnet connects to the steel with attraction. Something is happening inside the steel as I bring magnet closer to change from repulsion to attraction.
You make a very interesting observation. I have noticed this too. I think what is happening is sort of a battle for the allegiance of the steel between the two magnets. The steel acts just like a permanent magnet as long as it's in the presence of a strong enough magnetic field, with the orientation being according to the field it's being influenced by. When one magnet is already in full contact with the steel, the steel is fully in sync with that magnet. The steel is basically an extension of that first magnet. But when you bring a second strong magnet to the other side in an orientation that repels, the first reaction is repulsion because the second magnet is too far away to be able to "steal" any of the allegiance of the steel. But as you bring it closer, some of the steel on the surface which is slightly closer to the second magnet begins to align with the second magnet, which starts to create attraction. Once you force the second magnet all the way to the surface of the steel, you now have half of the steel aligned with magnet 1, and the other half aligned with magnet 2. So because the two magnets are further away from each other than they are from the steel, the repulsion between the two magnets is weaker than the attraction to the steel, which is in direct contact with both magnets.
That is because of the magnetic flux density of steel. Steel can conduct far more magnetic flux per volume than air. Problem is, the other side is not any stronger. With this configuration the strong side is much stronger than the magnets in normal configuration. Also this effect is independent of the steel plate, later in the video he shows the magnets with the weak side facing away from the steel plate
Now, I don't doubt that this is real, but your experiment doesn't actually prove anything. You're not using the same set of magnets for measuring from both sides. For all I know, you could use weaker magnets for the "weak side" demo, and stronger magnets for the "strong side".
you could use clamps!! also i notice one array is mounted on what looks like steel and the other on what looks like aluminium. this is not a fair demonstration. i suggest you remove the array from the metal plate and use g-clamps or whatever to hold it in place, then test BOTH sides of the same array.
@@paultomasi its steel duh, look how he puts both half of the magnets on the steel they both slam on there so both substrates where steel. it has to be otherwise you cant assemble it the way he does by putting both together. the forces are strong and doing magnet fr magnet is really hard. so this is an awesome trick. !
won't that only cause a problem at the ends? Since he has 2 array units end to end, that means there's at least a whole array unaffected in the middle, doesn't it?
It only increases the strength of every other magnet and reduces the strength of every other one. The net amount is less then a straight array as per the magnet man YT video. So its misleading to say it doubles the strength.
Hi; the magnets must be stick together or be close together? Which one give the most power of array magnet? If the magnets be closer the power will increase???
I discovered this effect from a thought experiment... And I started asking questions on Google then boom here I am just as I imagine it but I was little off
I'm not the video creator nor a magnet expert however I'd have to disagree with part of your comment. The different polarities of each magnet are clearly marked on them and the arrangement of said polarities is shown. The video even shows you how to counteract the resistance of polarity crossover and how to maintain their position by gluing them together. Of course he's showing how he did it but he's also showing the 'how to' too.
Did the frequency of light reflected from each magnet formation(as represented by colour) somehow effect the magnetic fields ability to transmit electrons?
this proves NOTHING. i notice one array is mounted on what looks like steel and the other on what looks like aluminium. this is not a fair demonstration. i suggest you remove one of the arrays from the metal plate and use g-clamps or whatever to hold it in place, then test BOTH sides of the same array.
The funny thing is how idiots think there is no aether around a magnet to cause the fields. It just happens by nothing acting upon electron particles over distance according to people with no rationale. This force vector... ect. As if vectors have any physical meaning at all, when they do not. A force vector can only be a mediator between two physical entities, not a standalone "thing" in and of itself.
you are doubling nothing, there is no free lunch in physics. It's like doubling the amount of water in a glass by pouring water from another glass of water. You may have more water in one, but you have less water in another..
He used the magnetic strip to block the magnetic field from the other side of the magnets so that you could see that the weak side was indeed weak. Otherwise, the nail would have just been influenced by the field produced by the strong side, and the weak side of the magnets would not have been noticed. Not sure how to answer your other questions though sorry!
Thank you. This is just what I needed. It is almost impossible to force magnets together in this arrangement but the metal sheets make it possible.
“It is impossible until it’s possible”
It doesn't look like it extends the magnet's range of influence, but rather just the strength of the attraction. Fascinating!
It extends the field on one side and reduces it on the other while making the magnetomotive force stronger on the side which it extends the range while making it weaker (by proximity) on the side with decreased range. Did some tests and if you put a steel plate on one side of a magnet you get the same effect.
Is a choice due to the fact that it is not easy to keep the magnets in a halbach array without a metal support
you could use clamps!! also i notice one array is mounted on what looks like steel and the other on what looks like aluminium. this is not a fair demonstration. i suggest you remove the array from the metal plate and use g-clamps or whatever to hold it in place, then test BOTH sides of the same array.
@@paultomasi its steel duh, look how he puts both half of the magnets on the steel they both slam on there so both substrates where steel. it has to be otherwise you cant
assemble it the way he does by putting both together. the forces are strong and doing magnet fr magnet is really hard. so this is an awesome trick. !
How do I make magnetic balls strongee
Controlled Magnetic Force can defy gravity.
would you have a look at a halbach array im designing?, its the last step in creating a floating skateboard. and yes i do mean a hoverboard
of course, you can find my email in information area of my channel
i'll send you an email with all the details, thank you, really appreciate it
For this hoverboard, does it hover on any surface? Or does it need a metal?
@Endoph Daize Or a superconductor... but don't lick it
It's the same principal that is being used in Tesla model 3 motors...
You have destroyed the properties of the halbach array by using a backing plate. They need to be by themselves (without a backing plate).
won't that only cause a problem at the ends? Since he has 2 array units end to end, that means there's at least a whole array unaffected in the middle, doesn't it?
Donde consiges los imanes
you can find the links to the products in description :)
This array works even if the magnets are not in contact, but closer are the better. The best shape for the magnets I think the cube
I discovered this effect from a thought experiment...
And I started asking questions on Google then boom here I am just as I imagine it but I was little off
Why don't you follow the magnet requirement?
The galvanized layer. Don't scratch! Clean it another way.
There is four ends
This is more like "How I double the magnetic force" than " how to double the magnetic force" No explanation nothing at all. Anyway thank u.
Wow
Did the frequency of light reflected from each magnet formation(as represented by colour) somehow effect the magnetic fields ability to transmit electrons?
I do not think that light can affect the magnetic field
Click "'HALBACH /HAMEL Motor"" to see my version of a rotary motor.
this proves NOTHING. i notice one array is mounted on what looks like steel and the other on what looks like aluminium. this is not a fair demonstration. i suggest you remove one of the arrays from the metal plate and use g-clamps or whatever to hold it in place, then test BOTH sides of the same array.
There is a unit called Tesla meter. Or Gauss meter. When someone want to prove something with magnets, will be good to use correct measurements.
Halbach is not good for the generator

you are doubling nothing, there is no free lunch in physics.
It's like doubling the amount of water in a glass by pouring water from another glass of water.
You may have more water in one, but you have less water in another..
In the video description I explain what you just wrote, I do not want to make anyone believe that I found a way to deceive physics
@@MagneticGamesIT It is true, the magnetic flux is moving from one side to the other and so it becomes more powerful in one side.
@@MagneticGamesIT Can you do the same for 2 poles configuration?
Wow lacking all understanding
Get y’all sum
worst "experiment" ever! wasted my damn time
you also wasted 10 seconds to write this message
He used the magnetic strip to block the magnetic field from the other side of the magnets so that you could see that the weak side was indeed weak. Otherwise, the nail would have just been influenced by the field produced by the strong side, and the weak side of the magnets would not have been noticed. Not sure how to answer your other questions though sorry!
👨💻Halbach array -> BAAH🐑 diamond array dude . this isn't the video were looking for FAIL 🚨🆘
Looks like total bullshit.
