  • Had you ever seen a double vortex of plasma? not me :) , some say that this reminds the Nather portal in Minecraft.
    Finally I found the right driver to do this experiment, it is a flyback with a ZVS driver, the plasma flow has a voltage of 20000 volts. Plasma is electrically charged and is deflected by magnetic fields, so it is possible to divert the flow by approaching a magnet. The effect obtained with a ring magnet is amazing and with slow motion you get details that are invisible to the naked eye.
    Thanks to Gianni Laschi for the help he gave me to make this video. This is his channel. / @giannilaschi

    In case you're wondering how it works, it's basically an electric motor. High voltage causes air ionization around electric potential points (i.e. sharp edges and points), eventually forming a region of ionized air that's electrically conductive. The charged particles are moving across the arc discharge, producing electric current in the magnetic field of the permanent magnet. According to Lorentz's law, a force is exerted on these particles, causing the discharge arc to move.

      @@owlredshift what are you using as a power source? and what Hz is it operating at on the output? also how are you shaping the magnetic fields? have you ever seen demonstrations on how sand reacts to certain sound Hz on a membrane? you can do something similar with plasma and magnetic fields. that is as much as i am willing to tell you as the result from doing these things "correctly" may be leading to a new form of propulsion and i am not about to willingly give away my secrets on a platform sun by the patent/idea stealing giant known as google. i cannot tell you the amount if times i have used google to search if my "invention" has already been discovered or patented only to have it happen from under me only a month or so later. coincidence perhaps but it has happened more than a few times so i am weary of divulging info on any platform related to google. the gist of what i am claiming is that it is possible to get a directed stream of plasma that can be used as propulsion in a vac. i came across it by accident and have no idea about the physics surrounding it so i am trying to be able to replicate it in other builds constantly, and once i can do that then i will be inviting a physicist to give their opinion on WHY this is happening.. and BTW if you are mad about spending a few hours experimenting then you are in the wrong hobby my friend..

    You could try to do a plasma vortex using a solenoid. Since a solenoid's magnetic field's strength can be manipulated by variating the power that runs through the wire, you could normally manipulate the plasma's rotation speed.

      @melanch0lycat5393 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Marik Zilberman Bruh, are you serious right now? Almost anything can be plasma as long as it;s hot enough + fire is simply a chemical reaction while plasma is an entirely different state of matter.

    • @johnbenson3024
      @johnbenson3024 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      what we see as fire is the atmosphere surrounding the fuel absorbing energy released from the combustion reaction. So when Tehzee says "fire IS plasma", we should assume he is referring to the atmosphere energized by the combustion reaction to the point of emitting visible light.
