The fact that Travis not only got to propose to his wife TWICE AND got to delight in the sheer CHAOS he caused as a result is the most adorably Travis thing he’s ever done 🤣❤️

@@higglybiggly1174 Here's the thing to remember, Hags are immune to charm. Modify Memory is a charm effect, which was forgotten in that epic moment. Plus, since that Hag has been alive bringing misery to people, making deals in every sort of way, and is good at magic with magic resistance. Eventually, she'll Greater Restoration herself and will try to take Jester's hands. I'm more surprised she hasn't.
How do you know anything was forgotten? Matt's major NPCs don't come from a pre-written stat block. She could be a green hag variant that's not immune to charm. @@Evilshadow529

the thing is that Travis IS fjord. He created the character, he made all the choices for the character. So this statement can't be true because only fjord would know what fjord would do and that is Travis. You can say not a fun way to purpose and you would do it differently which is maybe what you meant.
@@dramagal19Yeah, I would've done it differently is what I should've said. But the way I would've done it wouldn't have worked in this one shot as Jester's Sending spell wasn't working. What I had in my mind was that since Fjord seems like a traditional type of guy that he would ask for Jester's mother's blessing before he proposed. But how he would do it is he would tell Jester to use a Sending Spell to Marion and then hand her a note he had written. He'd tell Jester that the note was exactly 25 words long, so she can't add anything to it, just read all the way through. In the note he would express his love for Marion's daughter. He wants to protect her for the rest of his life and asking for the blessing. After Jester finishes the note, she would look up and see Fjord on one knee asking "So, what'd she say?" I just would love to see how Laura would react in character to reading the note, seeing Matt's reaction to the note and then Matt has to get into character as the Ruby giving her blessing to Fjord to marry her little Saphire. But as you said Travis is Fjord, so proposing to his wife Laura's character of Jester in front of 12,000 people is awesome too.
