A short break, but such a memorable one! The seafood market was a highlight-vibrant, lively, and full of fresh catches. I even had my first-ever breakfast of lobster and tiger prawns-absolutely delicious! Beyond the amazing food, I was struck by the friendliness of both the local people and the hardworking foreign workers.
Kota Kinabalu's charm, from its fresh seafood to its warm hospitality, made this staycation unforgettable. I will definitely be back!

rasa rindu pula nak ke sabah,pernah tingal di tanjung aru,berdekatan dengan lapangan terbang,hampir 4 tahun kerja di KK,sabah sangat indah waktu itu,sekarang rasa nya lagi lh indah dan maju,kenangan mengamit rasa rindu bha itu,😊❤❤
Memang betul, Sabah punya keindahan memang susah dilupakan, terutama Tanjung Aru! Pasti banyak kenangan manis sepanjang tinggal dan kerja di KK. Harap suatu hari nanti dapat kembali ke sana untuk mengenang nostalgia. ❤😊

I been living in kk for past 15yrs and still love it seafood for being cheap and fresh that I can’t find it in Klang when we moved here in 2017 so sad…. I miss kk so much but my children are settled here in West 😢

never. It was part of Brunei Kingdom. A mere promises which was never materialize. No treaty was signed. Nothing. Rather than worried about the east cost of Sabah, it's better for sulu people to claim its own autonomy and power from Manila.

satu kilo berapa ye lobster tu dan udang saiz besar??
Harga sekilo lebih kurang RM170 - RM220, kena tengok jenis lobster dan sizenya.. Tiger prawns sekilo RM90-RM100.. Harga ni ok tak?
@FoodHuntingMY murah jugak tu lobster,klau kecik harga itu mmng mahal..murah betul harga tiger prawns tu klau saiz besar 90-100..pernah ada tahun 2021 kat sabah besar tapak tngn mcm itu diorng jual Rm140 sekilo..terbaikk dan brbaloi
@@pydahradzuan444 Memang saiz tiger prawns tu besar betul kalau 1kg dapat 5-6 ekor saja! Memang puas hati kalau nak makan. Nak frozen untuk bawa balik kampung pun idea terbaik, kekal segar untuk dinikmati! 🦐❄😊

Betul, kalau dibandingkan dengan bandar-bandar besar, harga seafood di Sabah masih lebih murah. Tapi, dengan kenaikan harga sekarang, memang kena bijak cari tempat yang masih berbaloi. 😅

Its 2024 someone cant get ice to a huge seafood market ? Unbelievable.
It's definatly fresh fish , look at the eyes .
$8 a kg for shrimp ? That's more than US artifical inflation prices , ,Ask for locals prices , probably less than 1/3 of that , Head on Shrimp 15/20 count is $ 3.50 _ lb jack.
When they play me I go to another stall and buy as they watch . But not for gringo prices. Disrespect is not tolerated .
But seafood in 110 f doesn't do well . For the intestine
These tiger shrimp are fed pure steroids , People hear tiger shrimp and the stripes indicate farmed fed Steroids .
