      Looks like this story happens in Brazil, and as a Brazilian myself, I can say that sometimes (it's a gamble on if you're lucky or have enough money + good lawyers) the Justice system is a completely joke. And well if this happened on 80's there is pretty sure that they alleged that they were disciplinating their son. It was pretty common physical disciplice back then.

    When I was 15 I got accused and set up by a girl and her brother...got badly beaten up....3 years later I handed each one payback...1 served 3 1/2 years in prison...that was 42 years ago, all 3 of them are still in wheelchairs

    The fact it took that long to say sorry?! Ffs. You can believe the woman, but listen to your child and listen to the police. Sure at the moment of allegation, you don't know who is lying, your son or the girl, but you don't try to murder your son!! You don't automatically believe one side and violantly attack the other. You support both sides during an investigation.
    That attack was preformative. If he had SA'd the woman, how does the guy getting brutalised by his family at hour 1 help? They didn't care about the potential victim, they just cared about the performance of it. They go in the same bin as the POS girl that boasted about faking an SA in the first place.

Ending up in the hospital, being in a worse condition than my brother. Breaking multiple of his ribs, limbs, and making him lose 60% of his sight.. and they are called parents..     Edit: I'm realizing from the structure of the post that this likely occurred in a country with different legal standards to my own. Rather than delete my initial response I choose to own up to my ignorance. I am just truly baffled that it's at all possible in any place on earth for someone to harm another person that badly and face no legal consequences let alone it be a parent harming their child.
