What I find here is if you just use peat moss to cover I found that you should use mulched straw on top of the peat moss so if you get pouring rain it won't run into a low spot
Thanks for returning my text. One question I do have to ask tho. When you use peat moss will it make your lawn bumpy. Cuz I use peat moss and while it gets very cold in the winter here, I always find my lawn gets very very bumpy
Yes, I have recently noticed that the ground still has a rough terrain but notably smoother than before. Ideally, I wanted to use sand to truly level out the surface but only owning this new house for less than a year, I'm quickly learning that maintaining 4 acres is night and day compared to our old cookie cutter neighborhood.
Thanks again for your time with this matter. I never heard of using sand to try to level the ground. I don't think seed will germinate in sand or will it.
I used every grass seed out there and every year at the end of August my lawn disappears. Now every place I bought grass seed said it's because of the swamp maple trees are killing my lawn but I don't think it's the trees cuz it's only happening to two of the trees and I have like 4 swamp maple and it's only happening to two trees
I paid a local lawn service to do all this for $399 and by the looks of it, I saved money 😂
I learn so much from you Kipp thanks so much for these great videos.
I've been growing grass long my whole life!! Thank you for the advice!
