Great video, gave ya a sub. Dont forget There are a few different sizes as far as width and length. For those that dont know. I use a thinner, smaller ones as a second piece of mind, w the traditional buckel type strat as these can also work loose at the buckel/clips.

@@EastTexasADV thanks for the sub and the advice. I will definitely be investing in some more of these in different sizes. Cheers Mick.

agree on bungee cords they are a mess to deal with when tangled up and quite dangerous with those hooks. I have myself moved to straps and they just work beautifully with luggage bags.

These look really good, fed up with bungees, old hat and potentially very dangerous! Enjoying your videos, thanks for sharing with us, cheers.

I have always used rok straps. I am the owner of a Triumph tiger sport 660, called Tigger. I have done quite a few camping trips. Bunnies also scratch your bike. I use velcro straps round my room straps when I am not using them. In other words, when I am storing them. It is useful to have small ones I found. I am about to book a test ride on the Himalayan 450, hopefully for my holiday .

I am surprised people still use old type bungees. I changed to Ron Straps after a stray bungee hook smashed my glasses. Could have been much worse. I have acquired a mix of thin and thick Rok Straps, the thinner used on bicycles and for smaller bags on a motorcycle. They may seem expensive but work really well and last over a decade without any stretching. Spare ones also store easily in a small ziplock bag under the saddle for emergency carry.
