yea, he did good when sunshine was out with the injury after the million at eldora but it helps to have a car and equiptment as good as what tyler has, remember that crew and equiptment won 2 allstar championships and problably a 3rd if tyler wasn't out which allowed zeb wise to catch up and take over the lead, hmm day will do well he is very young and can keep up with the drivers that have been doing it several years, kofoid is also pretty good for as young as he is and did win the major race the bc 39 two years ago thats not an easy feat, its one of those crown jewel events for midgets at least on outside tracks, this and perhaps the 4 crowns at eldora
day I think will go places, my only hang up is that hes from california, I got a general mistrust of the politics there and the governer there has driven what was the envy of most of the usa into a cesspool, and its yet one more cali driver that will come to the midwest and take our lunch money

@@sprintcarfan87 yea I hate to say it outloud or on the record, but after what I seen groups do since the pandemic I am very suspect, some people are very coordnated in what they do, the large influx of people from the coast to places the lean more red may be an attempt to press influance and soften that red color, and the wide seated stuff the cells of antifa did and spread during the chaos of the time shows just how long the chain is.
though it is very less likely race car drivers are going to espouse such things for one many on that side are the enemy of car culture racing and the tracks were they run.
dont get me wrong though if there is a driver from the usa leading the indy 500 or in the olympics I back them even if they are from the coasts, and there are several transplants that I will cheer on, tmez for one or silvercrown series king kody swanson, and I will follow yung money or chris bell, or rico abru, and will give credit where its due with brad sweet, met him he was friendly enough, larson well hes a buissy man and his crew makes sure fans dont bug him when hes getting ready or watching a race hes very attuned, but he will give fans their due if they want to get pictures or a fast autograph, at the million I legit asked kyles crew if he espoused wokism, and they didn't know what that was and I had to explain it to them and they said they doubted kyle would espouse such things, so my take is Larson too buissy winning races to waste time on politics, that is my take, I recognize his talent and hard work but I wont support socialists, 2 generations fought to stop its spread only to have the really young think its cool, and trying to do right by others with the safety nets it might provide, their heart is in the right place but it only looks good on paper, and makes a god of the state and of sciance and we saw what that got us during the pandemic and the abuse of power that it enabled, and how ill the chinese treated their own people, not to mention what they did to hong kong's laws and the attempts to control their diaspora in the west with the secret police departments, and literally saying they want to supplant the usa and achieve hegemony, that capitalism is too weak and past due, they actually said that out loud and stated intentions with the belt and road initiative over the next decade.
as for gavin newsom, how he survived the recall election I will never know and seems with each day he takes a harder turn left then a sprint car driver pulling a slide job for the win, and newsom is a powermongering, control freak that drove the golden state and all it had to offer into a cess pit and ought to be shot out of a cannon into san francisco bay if you ask me.

the old midget motors are just as good as the new ones. the biggest thing is the new ignitions, you can pretty much have preset maps and torque curves that act like traction control. thats why the toyotas became so dominant when they first came out.

Those Mopars in the early 2000s were a force. Yeley had his historic USAC season driving Mopar power. Doesnt surprise me those motors can still hold up. Also it'd be cool to see Briggs take the step Joey Amantia is. And come to Indiana and run USAC and other local shows.

If Corey Day were to go full time outlaws next season and if Kofoid does well this year and sticks around for another season they could become a huge winning duo like a modern Kinser/Swindell. Hopefully they both avoid nascar.
