- 2018 was a great event, two of my favourites in the one room, Maggie Kirkpatrick and Anne Phelan, as well as others who I loved in the show, Maxing Klibingaitis, Jacqui Gordon and Genevieve Lemon, with Rick Ireland as the MC. I recorded the event for myself to look back on but with the interest in my other prisoner video I thought people might be interested in the footage I had from this event. I was getting the camera ready when Jacqui came out so missed her talk and the beginning of Genevieves. I don't do professional videos (obviously) and not great with the editing either (note the tic tac ad not lining up properly). I don't work with the organisers of the events, nor do I get free tickets or any special deals, but I have been to two of their Prisoner Luncheons and they were both fantastic and I will be going to their event in August this year. It's always a treat to watch one of my most favorite shows of all time. I loved every actress on the show. Everyone had their special roles. I am watching P.C

Im from the states and had nvr heard of Prisoner until I watched the new Wentworth on Netflix. I have several opinions ant the show but most importantly Prisoner is full of excellent acting. Its the acting that made it so great. Ty you tube for this great throwback!!
Thanks for posting this! I enjoyed watching it. I live in the U.S. so I have never been to a Prisoner event, but I have been to many Dark Shadows festivals, so I know the thrill of what it must be like to see the cast in person.
Ron Green I'm in U.S. to South JERSEY and would love to go to one of these. Sadly many of the cast have passed.

After seeing the 40th anniversary reunion I think this setting and group is far more enjoyable , everyone gets the chance to speak and their isn't any bitchiness, great to see. Many thanks for the upload
yes you are right, the smaller events are so much better. The bigger event was mainly focused on one character and the auction, not so much about the cast and their time during prisoner. As a paying guest to the events I have filmed, the main 40th anniversary event was the worst, me and several others left feeling less than impressed however every event I've been to in Sydney held by Judge Enterprises and Events has been fantastic. I'm glad you enjoyed the footage, there is a new one on my page now for the second 40th anniversary held in Sydney.

The long winded introductions are such a time-waster at these events (in my opinion) by egotistical hosts who want to make it about them interviewing the cast. I like when Maggie said "come on hurry up, they know more about me than I do myself." So much wasted time that could be spent on Q&A about Prisoner (the reason people paid to be there). Otherwise this is a lovely gathering.

Sorry there is no footage of the quiz, as a paying guest who was blessed to have the beautiful Maggie sit next to me, I stopped filming and participated. I hope you enjoyed the rest of the footage though. I know Rob Brown was filming part of the event too but not sure if he was filming during the quiz, maybe he will have some footage.

Why wasn't Elsbeth balentine, (meg) not at the 2019 reunion?
I heard the Val Leahman and Elspeth Ballantyne never got along .I'd love to meet Elspeth she seems really Lovely and from SA like me.😃😄
That's interesting because, as Jane Clifton introduced all of the women on the 40th reunion show, the cherry on top of the cake would have been to have Elspeth as the last one since she was there first and last . Never knew about her conflict with Val.
