This argument is so stupid tbh. Technique doesn’t mean just singing powerfully, it just means being able to sing without causing any damage to your vocal chords. With a solid technique you should be able to sing softly, heavy, and everything in between. So when y’all say technique doesn’t matter do y’all want ur faves to be struggling all the time? I would rather my fave to actually be able to a hold a note......
Having proper and healthy technique means you can project your voice without constriction. That gives you the freedom to sing soft if you need to. Singing breathy is bad for the voice, and not being able to produce a big sound means there are constriction that don't let the vocal folds vibrate freely and the air get's stuck or is leeked through.

Contrary to popular belief, amazing technique and emotion/tone can exist together. People just use this argument as a pretext not to get technically skilled (weather through training or not). Some singers that have them together are: Beyonce, Tori, Jojo, Mariah, Whitney, Celine, Pink, Aretha, Patti, Barbra and the list goes on and on.
Exactly U see it all the time on Broadway especially with Elphaba. Elphaba is a role that has to go through so many emotions through her journey and in No Good Deed she is supposed to be angry/disappointed/hurt and the women who play Elphaba on Broadway still use Healthy & Amazing Technique despite portraying all these emotions in No Good Deed. So yes Tone & Emotion as well as Technique & Emotion can coexist
Ironic you say Barbra...she’s never had a voice lesson in her life. Not one. She’s said many times she has no idea what people mean when they talk about voice technique or the mechanism itself. But she’s BARBRA so...
@@jenniferhiemstra5228 My point exactly. You don’t have to take vocal lessons to be an amazing vocal technician. Vocal lessons are not needed to be an amazing vocalist. Otherwise, vocally trained singers like Jlo and Selena would be considered more technically sufficient than vocalists like Aretha, Barbra and even Mariah, who have not had vocal lessons constantly.
@@Ryan_K535 Eehhhhh I still lean on disagreeing with that only because everyone you listed is a one in million talent that comes along once every century or whatnot. It’s SUPER rare that someone with no formal training ala “Babs” is just that good naturally, so relying on raw skill isn’t something I recommend. Babs is someone who’s lack of formal training added to her charm and her voice is so unmistakeable that even I, who’s had years of training, wouldn’t want her to change that. Even Patti has had formal training, she didn’t rely on raw skill. JLo and Selena (did they have training??) have other things that make them unique and there’s nothing inherent wrong with that. JLo has vocally improved over time anyway, which I appreciate.
@@jenniferhiemstra5228 What I am saying is that vocal training on most cases promises a good technique and safe vocal chords. However, there are singers such as Barbra and all that I mentioned are just naturally technically sufficient. That is a plus that they start with. Rare, but realistic
I also think that technique affects the writing and creative process. For example Billie might not write a melody like Ocean Eyes or Party’s Over nowadays because she doesn’t think she can hit those high/low notes comfortably/consistently live. She has less freedom and confidence with her voice. Just by training you can actually write more interesting melodies and you’re not restricted by your instrument’s capabilities.
Vocal range doesn´t really affect melodies... Every melody Billie wrote before she could still write now, the key would just be lower, the melody wouldn´t change.
@@jamesscarborough6038 Umm, yes it does? Range is a part of melody. Having such a limited vocal range won't allow Billie access to certain melodies, that she may even want to do, simply because she cannot sing them with that technique.
@@InvisibleTacoMan do y'all understand that Billie's issu is not that her range is limited ? You can't say her range is limited as long as she didn't show anything from it , what she does right now it's just a style , her problem is that she has poor unhealthy techniques

@Anime King I absolutely agree bcoz I was listening to some of her younger performances and I was like wow she sounds different but her voice change for the better .
To a point. These people sing a lot and there will be wear and tear if they continue singing like they do so technique is needed. Yet someone like Billie who sings in her restricted comfort zone can get away with it because comfort equates to good technique.
Totally agree! If you don’t have proper technique in opera, people at the back row of the concert hall won’t be able to hear you since there is no mic, and you could hurt your voice badly because operas are typically 1-2 hrs and not 3-5 mins.
tori has been working with the same vocal coach since she was 9 and it shows ❤️ i remember an old interview of hers from 2016 in which she said that she still goes for vocal lessons and that there is no shame in that as an artist bc you don’t just “grow out of” needing lessons no matter how old you are. she still has her coach on facetime before her shows to do warm ups with her!

you guys need to stop being toxic, there's a difference between an artist and singer, an artist can be a lot of things, such as a songwriter, a performer, a producer, an actor, etc, a singer is someone who has a style of voice and knows how to sing notes, of course there are mediocre singers who just stick with their bad technique and don´t care about improving, if your fav singer is like that don´t feel attacked bc it´s not your fault but if you do don´t attack others who just say the truth, singing is not easy and there are people who really want to improve and have vocal agility, so stop being toxic!!! please:) ps. and no i don´t think a great singer has to be able to hit high notes, he/she has to care about singing and improvement (his/her own health)

@Anne Day exactly I wonder why ppl dont give mariah credit for her writing and producing but critics put her as one of the best female writers . Honestly she is one of the few vocalist who are also complete muscians and artists and dont only depend on they voice .
Sometimes her songs can be showy and she has talked about that but why albums like Daydream and Butterfly worked so well is because the runs she has in those songs are subtle, yet packed. Aye, Emotions has high notes because she’s singing about someone make her feel high, Honey has loads of runs, because Honey is smooth and *runny*, and We Belong Together has that climax because she is screaming out desperation for him to “come back”. Fly Like A Bird also does some of these things as well. Btw, I don’t think that makes Taylor Swift inherently a bad writer either, although her lyrics is the only thing that gives her any artist cred for me. On the flip side not everyone is into big belting and songs where you would lose your voice trying to sing along to.

Mariah's case is a little different. You can't say she is untrained. But you can't say she is trained. Her mother taught her breath support, singing through nodules etc. But Mariah learned belting and whistles on her own. Patricia may have said whether she was doing it right.
I also noticed that billie is more into the production and the lyrics and she doesn't care about the vocals techniques and vocals , if she gives some importance to her voice and work on her voice , her singing will be more pleasing to the ears and more Healthy for her

Gaga is a vocal queen! (She’s also great at everything else...) Little mix also come to mind when I think of pop artists who can SING! All three of them are great!
Your absolutely right great trained vocalists are truly amazing as their voice can carry any style of singing with relative ease. They have the power to pierce the heart of the listener with their phenomenal skill. They need to be appreciated more for the time they've spent to hone their voice into a invincible weapon. But great stylistic singers also deserve the appreciation as creating a unique stylized voice that can carve a place in many people's minds & hearts needs a hell of a lot of creativity and work as well! So both trained vocalists & stylistic singers are amazing for totally different reasons so there's no comparing & putting one above the other! In today's scenario to achieve success both needs to work have in hand as there are a lot of competition just one thing won't cut it🤷! Especially because there are a large number of good popular trained singers but popular stylistic singers are relatively few! Stylistic singers are a relative new happening compared to trained singers so I feel that's why they seem to be trending now!
The argument that technique hinders emotiveness is probably the dumbest like My Heart Will Go On and I Will Always Love You, two of the best-known ballads of all time, never existed and weren't sung by Mrs. Dion and Mrs. Houston (and Mrs. Parton!)
I love Taylor and I love her voice the way it is. But she can definitely be pitchy at times, or off key. And I know that she would benefit from vocal training in the long run. It would not damage her voice as much and so on. At the end of the day, calling someone a “not trained” singer is not mean, and it doesn’t take away their writing or music skills😜
She's capable of reaching into the 6th octive. She developed her low notes with Folkmore. I hope she develops her high notes, too. But honestly she needs to focus on consistency. I was so disappointed watching the rep tour on Netflix because the Don't Blame Me peak was not anywhere near as good as the one at my show. She went OFF and add way more adlibs.
Idk if you’ve ever heard of the Cimorelli sisters, but I’d be very interested on your take of their harmonies and individual singing styles/techniques.
THANK YOU!! This is a conversation and topic that fans should be able to discuss. There’s IS such a thing as objectivity when it comes to technique/abilities. Personal taste/style is a separate issue, however, the two may not necessarily be mutually exclusive. Technique most certainly can open the doors for artists to adopt multiple different tones and sounds and do them safely without long term consequences (ex. Hard rock distortion). Technique expands your abilities and choices .... it doesn’t limit them! Also two things can also be true at once... something can sound nice stylistically or be someone’s cool signature sound - and not be technically great if performed unhealthily. Its exhausting hearing people only make excuses for singers all the time (age, lip-synch, style, etc). If you take care of your voice properly you can sing amazingly forever! I’m so glad you make videos on topics like this. Stay strong in your convictions!
Some artists really rely on their style and tone to a point where their techniques begin to decline , in order to keep a healthy voice and better performances they need technique, cuz those techniques can apply to every style and help them improve while staying in their own styles , without the skeleton/foundation and the base you can’t really build a strong/durable building no matter what shape that building is or what it is for
vocal teachers know the anatomy and what affects your voice positively and negatively. they don't make you a more bland singer, they allow you to learn how to control the expressions you're trying to go after and expand your abilities. it's about doing something in the healthy way, and some do instinctively sing very well and very healthy, but vocal technique is still helpful. technique is there to lift up you up and support you when your instrument/voice isn't at 100%. it's easy to make it work when you're feeling on top, but when you get tired you need technique to help you not push
i'm a dancer and this reminds me of the same debate but with dance. i think people just simply don't understand that great technique makes you MORE able to make interesting artistic choices and express yourself more effectively. someone with great technique can always choose to make their voice sound light and airy or full and bright or whatever they want to do stylistically. you're able to do such cool runs and have a larger comfortable range you don't have to strain for. you literally have more options at your disposal to artistically express yourself. but people are somehow convinced that having good technique or trying to develop your technique is completely at odds with artistic expression and improving your technique will make you lose your creativity, when this is literally just not true. yeah, pop singers don't NEED to have solid technique like opera singers or musical theatre performers but all having good technique does is make your life easier, make your voice healthier, and open up even more options for artistic expression to you
Didn't expect Billie being compared to Tori Kelly. I love both of their music but it's no denying that Tori has the upper hand in terms of vocal technique (there's actually a video of Billie complimenting Tori's voice in an interview). Tori's also very truthful with how she writes her songs. Now, what I love about Billie is her unique sound of her music that have had a huge impact in the music industry rn (well, even Tori is covering her music, it shows). She's also a great songwriter. I just hope she starts taking care for her voice, it's not too late; she's still so young.
I don't think it was to compare on which was the better singer, it was just to show how having proper technique can do for her. I don't listen to her songs, but her voice is soooo pretty and it would help her in the long run (so she can keep doing what she's doing without damage), so grow her technical skills.
The thing is , tori did falsetto and billie did white head voice which is harder to sing. No doubt that tori is better than Billie as a vocalist. They're also not hitting the same notes tori is doing d5s and billie e5, tori g3 billie e3
@@averyy6681 Tori's guitar was actually tuned half step down, so it was lower than Billie's. Even with the same key, Tori can still be able to hit those notes more effortless than Billie's. And also, actually, both are using falsettos. You will know it because both did sound so thin and airy. Head voice on the other hand sounds much fuller and thick. The problem with what Billie did was she was pushing or squeezing her throat for projecting those falsettos. Don't get me wrong, Tori's doing it too; it's just less tensed than Billie's. Tori's falsetto and head voice isn't actually her forte or known for her singing. While she can do whistle very decently, her head voice tend to be the weakest part of her voice. It's not a let down though because she still has great lows despite being a light-lyric soprano, she also has a very developed mixed belt, and don't even get me started with her runs/riffs/melisma. Going back with Billie, again, she's still so young, she just needs a coach to help her take care of her voice.
@@damsapollo lol you don't need to prove your fav to me ik tori is a much better vocalist than Billie, white head voice is lighter sounding you can tell it's white head voice when it's very smooth sounding babyish soft voice like what villa is doing , billie's falsetto is very bold that it's falsetto, apparently billie was sick during that performance idk if I should believe it but she's done effortless lows and highs in chest voice remember, don't base a vocalist on just one performance. Billie also has nice runs she actually has shown a lot but in different performances, times and videos. I doubt billie would actually get a vocal coach, she said her self "A want to be seen as a visual artist and not a vocal artist." That's why she holds back a lot and I wish she actually showed what she's hiding cs she's teased us in her harmonies and background vocals. Also billie's dad said she used to sing in whistle register when she was 13 for fun. So it's obvious she has potential. Also imo tori kinda over did it with the runs, her music doesn't do it for me, but as a vocalist she's amazing. I also checked and it still was an F3 billie hit an e3 that still is there, not completely inaudible but if she wasn't sick idk what happened in that performance.
@@averyy6681 Ok why am I getting an angry vibe here? You don't have to get so defensive as I am also aware of what Billie can do. Again I'm a fan of them both, not just Tori. I said in the last statement that she just needs a coach, but I know that she doesn't want to and she even mocks vocal coaches who reacted to her voice. In fact, she's aware that she is not a vocalist. That is what I love about her. She isn't here as a vocalist. She's a true artist and that was her point in creating music from the start after all. She doesn't filter and usually very vocal about certain issues. Tori on the other hand is not just about her vocals too. She has decent songwriting skills and not some generic pop lyrics, but I am aware that her music is not everyone's cup of tea as music taste is subjective. That is why Billie is more popular right now because of how "experimental" her sound is. Although, I still stand that both of them are using falsettos though.

I'm totally on board with everything you said when it comes to the importance of developing technique (no matter the musical style) and having more tools to express yourself without losing sight of individuality. Having said that, I have to confess this: what really bothers me about North American pop in general is that singers seem to think they need to have vocal runs in EVERY SINGLE VERSE. For me, it kind of feels like a top model stopping after every step on the catwalk to shout "hey, you see how slim my waist is? How 'bout my thighs? Did you notice it? Look at my shiny hair!". Yeah, skills are important. But so is keeping in mind the listener's experience, y'know? Everything in good measure.
These delulus can say that Sohyang sounds "bland and robotic" with her flawless belting technique, but then we all know that people cry while watching all of her performance in Immortal Songs.
I don't know how Billie can sing like that all the time. It sounds good but it also seems like it might hurt after a while. Like I can feel it when I hear or watch her sing.
I totally agree being a great singer and a great artist is not the same thing no, I don’t wanna be hit with the most technically advanced vocal arrangements in every single song every time but you can use vocal technique as the foundation to build your artistry on it doesn’t mean less advanced singers can’t be great artists, it just means technique might become somewhat of a limiting factor on how they express their art
TECHNIQUE MATTERS! 00:30 In a world where a singer's technique doesn't matter... "She's not the best singer, but I'd rather listen to her than someone who is actually skilled at their job," is the same as, "She's not the best doctor, but I'd rather visit her clinic than someone who is actually skilled at their job." make it make sense...
WORD. I get the appeal of some singers with lack of training, heck I even like a few of them myself, but like...would you go to a doctor without the skills AND training??
Noooo not really, listening to a bad singer won’t affect your health in anyway. Singing is about preference and sometimes people just prefer certain voices to others. I feel like people need to get over this obsession with doing things the ‘right way’. Skill is subjective, if a singer wants to use their voice in a unique way that doesn’t cause themselves harm then I don’t see the issue. People can use their voice however they want, it’s their art.
@@kusaekusae No SINGING won’t, but the analogy there is why is lack of skill accepted in the arts while it wouldn’t be in others professions? And as someone who teaches, you’re absolutely incorrect about technique, there IS a correct way to do things. Now that means something different from student to student. I absolutely support keeping ones uniqueness, but singing well and correctly is still necessary. I’ve seen many a student copy someone with improper technique and like any form of imitation, they pick up those bad habits. If your prefer one voice over another, that’s fine by that is entirely separate from skill level which is quite objective.
@@jenniferhiemstra5228 some ppl just want to listen to music, some don't care to listen to someone belt and use runs every 5 seconds. If you're going to a clinic that isn't skilled that's your fault.
Technique allows a vocalist to have more freedom to do whatever they intend to do with their vocals. The more proficient they are, the more things they can do..
I do not know why people take it so personal, is not like He is insulting them, they are just saying that your faves do not have the best vocal technique, is like if you have friend that is good in math and a Harvard teacher told you that he is good but not that great, you just have to accept it, is not that big of a deal.
This is propably the best video you made! Absolutely beautiful and awesome points as well! I just don't get what technique looks like to people that insistently and STUPIDLY keep saying that it doesn't really matter when it comes to singing. Like...really???????? It's like driving a car without knowing the controls, it's like cooking without knowing the doses and the steps of a recipe, it's like designing a house without knowing anything about architecture! Even this whole idea that all singers with technique sound the same when it's clearly NOT because every voice has its own timbre, its own tone and its own features and shades that can be expressed at their bests ONLY with a good vocal technique! Sometimes I wonder why people think like that, maybe it's the steretype of the singer that is classicaly trained and that generally has to stick to the original song because it was considered disrespectful to change just a simple thing, maybe vocal coaches generally has a terrible approach to aspiring singers and don't really let them believe that technique is important or even worse boring, maybe it's the fact that a lot of singers of the last 20 years have become very successful even without a good vocal technique. I don't know... Whatever it's the truth, the whole conception of the vocal technique and its importance has to change because it's really embarrassing to listen to some singers failing so terribly on stage for no apparent reason whatsoever. That being said, you just deserve a decade of applause for what you said in the last part! It was truly golden! Ps. 9:08 I just can't believe that it's happened...and she even had the same reaction as me.
I agree with most of the video. With Billie specifically i think the fragility in her voice matches the feeling of her songs and that's why it works and people relate to it so strongly. Somehow Tori's excellent control (she's great) doesn't portray the same feeling. In contrast, fragility of Selena's vocals just makes her sound weak, bc her songs usually need actual vocal power. I hope I made sense
Lisa Fischer is also a great example of a vocalist with perfect technique and knows how her voice works. :) And I wish Selena Gomez improved her technique tbh. She has beautiful tone.
Very good analysis as usual! By the way, I think Christina Aguilera actually has a solid foundation on how to use good technique. I say this because when she was a little girl, she sang notes (including belting notes as high as an E5 from what I have been able to find) with outstanding technical ability! She actually still has good technique for the most part in her lower register and head voice/falsetto register. Her technique has actually improved tremendously in her lower register now days (age helps a lot as well)! The most inconsistent part of her voice is in her belting range, mostly at around D5 and above, although she does have a lot of questionable moments below that as well. This is bizarre and unique because most singers are usually either weak in their lower or upper register, having a more-or-less consistent belting range. Nevertheless, Christina Aguilera has been able to pull off some gorgeous belts (even above D5) throughout her career. I think there are A LOT of reasons as to why this is, but I do think a lot of her inconsistency in her belting range stems from pushing on her voice too hard when belting. Well, this post is already way longer than I wanted it to be. This is all I have to say here! Peace!
A good example of a singer with good technique is Moira Dela Torre she also sings like Billie Eilish that "whispery singing" but she can sing in a different approach too she can also sing in a much more open and full sounding voice and can also belt, you can hear this in her cover of Reflection.
Mariah Carey, Beyonce are just some of the prime example when great timbre and technique collide. The thing with untechnical singers, I always feel anxiety whether or not they can hit the tricky part of the songs, or are they going to lipsync. There are many technically flawed singers who I believe choose to ignore the technical aspect for stylistic purposes, it doesn't mean they don't know how to sing, they just prefer to ignore it (which is actually unhealthy). Some at the top of my mind are Christina Aguillera, Adele, Park Bom. You know they are technically flawed but you just can't help but loving their timbre.
THANK FOR ALL THIS. I’ll admit there’s some vocalists out there where the lack of training/super natural sound just adds to their charm, but give me at least a decently well trained vocalist who can color and shade at will until the cows come home any day of the week. GAGA...she sounds different every damn time she opens her mouth ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
LADY GAGA is the best pop start of our generation hands down. Amazing lyrics and vocals. Queen of all genres!!! Lmao those who think their artists are the best. They are wrong it’s Gaga, Beyoncé, adel, sia. Ect.
Exactly. Gaga, Beyoncé, Sia, Ariana Grande, and maybe Demi Lovato earn the spots of greatest vocalists of this generation (when it comes to mainstream music)
@@AP-mb8cu Sia could use some work, yes, but Ariana Grande is incredibly talented vocally. Her lows are decent for a soprano, she can switch from breathy vocals to powerful belting (not all of her belting sounds like she’s yelling. the girl has some power in her voice.), her falsetto is incredible, her whistle register is incredibly impressive, her mid belts are extremely underrated and sound extremely pleasant, she’s very skilled at her runs and her riffs aren’t too bad. Her technique, jaw tension, straining, and yellish tone could be worked on and improved, but she is definitely a contender for most talented singer of *this generation* along with Beyoncé and Gaga. Barely anybody in the the industry can compete with these three nowadays
I’m in agreement with this- vocal technique adds freedom to do whatever it is you want. Healthy placement is also important for the longevity & stamina required by professional artists. We consider physical fitness but just because we can’t see those vocal cords and muscles, doesn’t mean they don’t require working out. As a person paying to see someone perform, especially those who are earning a significant amount, I wouldn’t pay to see someone who doesn’t put the work into essentially what they do for a living. Would you last in your job if you don’t perform?
2:28 Not true for the most part. Everyone has different styles and different approaches hence why the Role of Elphaba sounds different every time a new actress plays her. Its the same vocal training but different styles and approaches to the technique makes it different and appealing to viewers
im kinda peeved when people says that singers would sound the same if they all learned vocal technique. and i am like, honey, do whitney, mariah, and celine sounds the same to you?

@@Lucas-or1ic okay

Yes, Pink! She is soo underrated. I love her so much.
11:16 Yes u are right. Emotive singing depends on the singer and their ability to act.
Mariah carey for example... OMG her songs are incredible

Sometimes her songs can be showy and she has talked about that but why albums like Daydream and Butterfly worked so well is because the runs she has in those songs are subtle, yet packed.
I still have trouble to find out why people can have problems understanding the point😂😂
i'm a dancer and this reminds me of the same debate but with dance. i think people just simply don't understand that great technique makes you MORE able to make interesting artistic choices and express yourself more effectively. someone with great technique can always choose to make their voice sound light and airy or full and bright or whatever they want to do stylistically. you're able to do such cool runs and have a larger comfortable range you don't have to strain for. you literally have more options at your disposal to artistically express yourself. but people are somehow convinced that having good technique or trying to develop your technique is completely at odds with artistic expression and improving your technique will make you lose your creativity, when this is literally just not true. yeah, pop singers don't NEED to have solid technique like opera singers or musical theatre performers but all having good technique does is make your life easier, make your voice healthier, and open up even more options for artistic expression to you

Vocal Techniques is VERY IMPORTANT and Shouldn't be swept under the rug for popularity
I was also that kind of fan that thought vocalists didn’t need proper vocal tech until I learned and watched Natalie Weiss’ private training video. 😂
Anyway, hEEEeey gUUUUuys
Thank you for showcasing Jojo. She is so slept on.
the whole part from 1:48 to 2:12 GO OFF KING 👏🏽👏🏽
"You don't have to be a vocalist to be successful" well, that pretty much sums up how trash the music industry is. Smh
Right!

Bruh chole and Halle, tori kelly, jojo, I even saw aliee a Korean artists. Their vocals are like butter, and that’s on having tone, control and technique.
I've never agreed with a channel on music as much as this one. Others are either wrong or biased.
It's actually not Healthy
Singing with excessive airiness is a bad idea for the long-term vocal health
Thank you for this informative video. I’m so sick and tired of people undermining vocalists with great vocal technique.
I totally agree
being a great singer and a great artist is not the same thing
no, I don’t wanna be hit with the most technically advanced vocal arrangements in every single song every time but you can use vocal technique as the foundation to build your artistry on
it doesn’t mean less advanced singers can’t be great artists, it just means technique might become somewhat of a limiting factor on how they express their art
Thanks for including Pink❤️
I think it's important to know your limits and keep practicing and improving.
@@averyy6681 technique is not just belting and running… jsyk
Technique allows a vocalist to have more freedom to do whatever they intend to do with their vocals. The more proficient they are, the more things they can do..
I do not know why people take it so personal, is not like He is insulting them, they are just saying that your faves do not have the best vocal technique, is like if you have friend that is good in math and a Harvard teacher told you that he is good but not that great, you just have to accept it, is not that big of a deal.
Think that's the 1st time I've seen Sohyang on your channel. Her version of FATE is legendary! 🔥🔥🔥
No she has appeared in his videos a few times
It's about skill. If you're doing something, why not try to do it well?
Peace!
Her voice is truly amazing!
@@alvernawiley8688 yes, absolutely!
I have been thinking during the video in the voices of little mix, they have good techniques☺️
Yes! They’re great!
I’m glad I came to ur live, I can tell u r very passionate :)
Mariah then Morissette in succeeding clips, YES
A good example of a singer with good technique is Moira Dela Torre she also sings like Billie Eilish that "whispery singing" but she can sing in a different approach too she can also sing in a much more open and full sounding voice and can also belt, you can hear this in her cover of Reflection.
Yesss Ailee, Sohyang, and Luna representation 👍👍
It’s simple. The more skill you have; the more you can do.
@@thatonegirlyouprobablyhate Sia isn’t a great vocalist compared to gaga or bey. Nor is Ariana
@@thatonegirlyouprobablyhate well sia isnt that great of vocalist
Beyoncé isn't apart of our generation
