super random question lol. what’s the craziest train related situation you’ve experienced? for me it was when i rode the danbury branch, i literally got to south norwalk with seconds to spare before the train departed 😂
It's funny you ask... In November we were railfanning on the Danbury Branch at Seeley Rd. If you know anything about it, there isn't much room to park. But, we found a small gravel area which I think is a part of the power company. The train came pretty late, and when it did, it went by really slowly. Not long after, the MTAPD showed up and asked what we were doing. We explained we were just filming the trains, but they said they got reports that we were trespassing. In hindsight, I do remember some lady walking her dog...she must've reported it.But we just said sorry and left so it was all good in the end. Definitely didn't discourage us from railfanning, just makes us a little more careful lol Plus now it's an experience we can talk about and laugh at.
