Do you have the parts list, suppliers, and schematic? I like adjustable voltage and current bench PSU, but they are pricey. So with an ATX and your very well done video I was hoping to make one, but I am not sure with missing details that I need to do it myself. Still hoping for a schematic and a parts list.
Pensi si possa realizzare un alimentatore con un magsafe di un macbook? Il voltaggio in output è variabile e dipende dal valore di resistenza che percepisce. Credo debba essere modificato.

Domanda: che tipologia di alimentatori switching atx sono Stati usati? Se non erro, dovrebbero essere tutti a pfc passivo o group regulated. Quindi bisognerebbe tener conto dei consumi e del ripple. Inoltre un atx, seppur DC to DC a lungo andare perde le regolazioni del ripple e molti componenti elettronici soffrono con valori elevati.

I built one using broken laptop charger. That charger has wiring problem that it's not worth to rewire them anymore, so i bought adjustable voltage regulator and wire them together
I have a psu that worked, connected green to black and it turned on the fan. After cutting the wires, when I connect green to black, it spins the fan for half on sec and then it stops. And idea? The purple 5v has power for an led, but the other wires stop after half second

come al solito 4 bei progettini semplici e ben fatti,
Ho notato un piccolo problema nella nuova grafica: nella parte giallo nera con i numeri dei progetti le due righe con il tuo url lasciano una parte del .com sotto il marchietto rosso e bianco "DTiscriviti". è vero che ora che hai finito il video in un qualche modo lo capisci ma non è immediato.
Mi sono accorto perchè non lo avevo visto la volta scorsa: se metti a tutto schermo il video con un monitor 21:9, il marchietto rosso e bianco rimane nell'angolo ma va fuori dal campo video (forse anche col 16:9) quindi non interferisce più con la scritta.

Buongiorno Complimenti per i progetti ma mi sorge un dubbio: nell'alimentatore regolabile 1-27,5 V 8 A come riesce a prelevare, per esempio, 24 V /3 A (72 W) quando a monte del convertitore DC/DC è montato un alimentatore da 24 V / 2,2 A (52,8 W)? Grazie per il chiarimento

Hi, I might just show my ignorance here but in No.3 it's printed on the front that it is a 24V 8A supply but the power supply he used stated on the ticket that it supplied 24V at 2.2A (took a lot of play/pause to read it since the label is only on the screen for a split second). Where do the other 5.8A come from?
if i understood correctly your question, what you read printed on the front of the supply is the maximum amount of current it can pass through that line at that voltage. this means that the supply is able to power any circuits who require less than 8A on 24V . If you draw more current, the supply gets damaged

Something is missing. You are using pc atx and a buck converter. how come you got more than 12v???
I think that in this particular case a boost buck converter was used. This is the only possibility to obtain 28 volts from a 12 volt power supply.

i am definitely confused also with the conversion of the buck converter. hope we got the answer for this.
I think that in this particular case a boost buck converter was used. This is the only possibility to obtain 28 volts from a 12 volt power supply.
