@@eta320 Its with a mod called Daktank and ACF, It basically works like Sprocket except it takes longer to build and is more complex, I personally prefer Sprocket though due to how simple it is.
I don’t even care if the game stays exactly how it is for the rest of time, $20 is fair for even the basic abilities we have now. As someone who’s been playing it almost non-stop for the past few days, I’ve already gotten my money’s worth. But I totally see where you are coming from. Early access is always a gamble, the dev put out a roadmap on the discord and I’m excited for the future.

Autoloaders weren’t specifically mentioned but a lot of related mechanics were and I know autoloaders are something plenty others want to see. I’m pretty confident they will be in the game, but again, it might be a year or two into development

imagine mixing war thunder PVP mechanics with builder mechanics of this game, holy shit!. a mix of war thunder and this game ufffff it will be epic, it will be the best tank game out there, where you can have real historical tanks fighting made up tanks!.
Crossed 200 hours on Steam this week and not bored of the game yet. I'd say I got my 20$ worth, considering most AAA releases made in the past ten years made me sick in half that time lol.
I love my from the depths the only thing is it is not meant to be realistic and to make a tank of realistic size you have to make it very weak because you can't fit all the important components while also giving it ample power and armor, if you make a tank it's going to be the size of a house, also the landscape is extremely barren meaning you don't get interesting fights from unique land scapes.
If they do this right. They will kill Warthunder and World of tanks. Edit: why tf does he not have a patron or go found me shit? If he got dev help, this will change the tank gaming.
This is brilliant since most large scale games tend to be for a target audience or done to the likings of someone who has little to no interest in the certain game ie befethda also it’s brilliant how it’s community driven vs the needs of some corporate overlord which demands time, money and numbers and as you said , the developer has his own goals and own stakes in the game as well, since if the games terrible then he’s not going to want to play it let alone anyone else and so HIS ideas and HIS dreams are his and his alone and being a tank nerd has actual knowledge and insights into how a tank operates and functions and whilst the game is barebones and basic, it much like sea of thieves has the potential to grow and develop and again this game is fantastic because it’s a game built for the fans and tank enthusiasts as well as the casual gamer, where it’s diverse and different enough where even the same missions are like How can I do it this way, too much armor isn’t any better, too much firepower is great but is useless if you can’t see let alone hit said target and be better off as a pillbox, too little armor leads to being KOed too little firepower is as useless as a peashooter, too little mobility gets you nowhere.
Omfg I've spent hours upon hours building a pretty realistic looking Stug III G and T-34 in Scrap mechanic with moded guns that can fire and tracks that can move separately. This is every tank nerds wet dream. I don't think my school laptop will cut it for this game though haha
The steering in the game is a bit bugged (or maybe I'm doing something wrong, idk) but otherwise I'm loving this game. It makes me feel like a designer from the early 20th century trying to figure out wtf a tank even is.
There is certainly a lot to figure out, you aren’t alone in the difficulties in control. Even after the suspension update that came out a few days ago, the tanks definitely still slide around a bit. The dev is working on another suspension based update, so hopefully it will get even better.
i love warthunder and this is what i would expect to be the next level up from w/t. you have a new sub from me and i cant wait to see more from you and this game.
