One thing i noticed about a lot of morbidly obese people on this show, it's never just about food. It's sad how much trauma can continue to affect you after years. I'm glad she's reclaiming her life now.

I know that she is going to make the best decisions for her and her son from now on.Thats truly a mother's love 💘. I am proud of her. I always watch this show and so many people give up. I'm surprised a psychologist hasn't been called in years ago to help her! So start this NOW. This huge weight gain starts with the mental process first: dealing emotionally with her fathers death many years ago, what she "believed" when bullied by kids, what she "loves" about carbs, and her obvious depression now that needs to be addressed. Working with plastic surgeons, I saw the process of psych counseling before the surgery, saw the huge table to support the patient, the equipment used & the enormous amount of belly fat removed in the operating room...more counseling afterward for months...and gentle exercises to start toning the body. PLEASE stay on the right path to lessen & remove all the burdens you have. You are worth it & deserve a better life than you're suffering!! It CAN BE DONE! 🙏

I'm grateful to report that I have lost some of the demons and don't binge any more. Regretfully the obsession with food and the body dysmorphia is still there, but I have faith that if God can enable me to stop binging, then She can enable to become free of those isues as well. I'm deeply committed to my faith and my struggle to come out of this internal battle and I know I will be victorious in the end, as will anyone who truly desires freedom and peace . . . and is willing to follow through in whatever path is right for them

My mom was a drug addict and it was because she was raped at 14 and her dad never told her he loved her. Then she got pregnant woth me at 16 and the rest is history.
I became a food addict because of the trauma of growing up bouncing from one drug house to another with her.

I however am a very happy mama and wife these days and doing my best to break the cycle. That was such a hard one to kick. I went from multiple per day, to one per day. But I kept gaining weight. So now I try to limit to one per week. My favorite is from famous fast food joint. I used to have over 40k loyalty points from drinking so much Coke 😂. I found some caffeine crystal lite that is only 5 calories per glass, so that’s what I substituted. I’m sure it’s not great for me, but it’s better than the Coke.

Addiction to anything can always be traced to a traumatic event in that person's life.. When I was eight years old I was molested by my uncle's friend who was thirty years old so food became my best friend I knew I could always count on it and I also knew that I would not let me down and always make me feel good so I was 400 lbs by the time I was 30 years old and then I traded my food addiction for an addiction to high dosage pain pills but my tolerance went sky high and pills became to expensive to buy on the street so I went out and found something stronger and cheaper and that's when I started i.v use of Heroin and my weight went down to 210 lbs and I became homeless I got tired of living that life and I got sober and now I have 4 years sober so I know how hard fighting addiction can be but We do recover ❤️💜

That stomach is crazy! Her legs aren’t even that fat. It’s so weird how different people hold the fat in different places. I think she must’ve had weight loss surgery in the past and then all that loose skin just filled back up with the fat. Like that girl on thousand pound friends who had the surgery once before and now she’s got that fat apron that just hangs over like she’s wearing a skirt. Made out of fat.
