    Trust me coming from a person with permanent tinnitus you definitely want to use these.

    I’ve been using the Earpeace plugs for about a year, and they really work well, and much easier to use than the foam plugs, since you don’t have to roll them up just right so they fit well. Really like the bombproof container as well, although mine is black. No idea how long they’ll last, but commuting 5 days a week for almost a year, and they still look like new. Might just buy a spare set to keep on the bike in case I forget to bring them with me.

    I started wearing this type of earplug about a month ago. I wish I would have done this years ago. These things are awesome! I will never ride without them again. They do exactly what you said, cut down on all the bad noise and you can still listen to music, podcasts, book on tape, or your buddy’s endless nonsense. If you ride a motorcycle buy ear plugs like these!!!

    I love these style of plugs. I didn’t know about this brand, but I’ve always worn the Safariland Pro Impulse ones, which look like an identical design to these actually. I’m due to replace them, I’d be down to support a Moto specific brand 👌

    I have used a couple silicon earplugs for a while now. The best ones so far were the Nonoise. After 2 and a half years of constant use they are starting to deteriorate.
    I'm using a knockoff AXBUS brand that are similar shape but $17cad for 16 pairs instead of 1 pair of Nonoise for $32cad.
    Used them for 2 weeks now and at work they are fine but ride all day and while pulling helmet off the soreness becomes apparent. Other silicon plugs did the same.
    The Nonoise ones I can ride 12 hours sleep with them in and ride another 12, without sorness. They also had a ceramic filter.
    Have tried a pair that you warm up then mold into your ear. After 10 mins they work their way out just like foam plugs.
    The high end silicon ones are the way to go.👌 Thanks

      I had Nonouse in the past. They are very similar, but I’d say the noise filtering is better on these

    • @KLRmurdercycle

    I went for a ride from San Francisco to San Diego and ordered these earplugs specifically for that trip. I did not make it from SF and had to switch these earplugs for regular foam earplugs. Wearing the earpeace pro, my ears started ringing, and the noise was just too much.
    I am not happy with them :(

  • @Captndarty
    @Captndarty 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Idk… I’ve never ever had any issues using coms or listening to music with the foamies. Albeit the volume is turned all the way up to compensate. Emergency vehicles… I’d be able to hear them too but if you have good situational awareness you’d more likely see the lights before you’d need to hear them and besides a cop car how many fire trucks or ambulances are actually going to catch up a motorcycle anyways? I’d give them a try but I’ve never had a good experience with the pinecone/ribbed type rubber based earplugs. I enjoyed the review nonetheless.

    Just picked these up as the windshield I got for my Vulcan S gets the wind off my chest, however it's more focused at head level now, and at 70+ mph it is unbearable. Tried these out last night and this morning. While they definitely lower the overall noise spectrum, my music at max volume is now really hard to hear... This is using the default "High" filter - I'm gonna try the Medium and MAX ones and see how that changes things.

    • @richardparker6723

    • @icky_thump
      @icky_thump ปีที่แล้ว

      @@richardparker6723I went straight to the MAX filter and haven't looked back. I played around with the fitment (and make extra sure my ears are cleaned lol) and overall these are the best ones for me. My loud exhaust is now totally bearable and all but the most gentle songs can be heard OK at 70-75mph.
      It's probably more so my cheap Amazon bluetooth helmet audio that just doesnt output loud enough to compensate at high speed, was only $28 haha. But overall yes, I'm very happy with the MAX filter.

    Hi BAM, great channel and content. The honest reviews are refreshing. Love the epic rides, as I run them as well and really enjoy your perspective. I have three sets of the original Earpeace plugs (Clear, red and black) and thanks to you just ordered a set of the Moto Pro plugs with the black Max db (26) & red case (easy to spot). I wish Earpeace would offer red silicone plugs in all varieties, not just the safety version. We all drop these bastards eventually and searching for a grey plug in the dirt is frustrating at best!

      @@kee7678 They're excellent. The Max 26db plugs allow me to hear music and comms just fine, yet keep the high-pitch noise (wind roar) to a minimum. As long as you choose the right size plug for your ear canal I'm sure you'll like them. MUCH better than foam plugs.

    Bought these after watching the video and tested them out for a weekend. I found them to be uncomfortable in my ear after about an hour. Also with my com volume maxed out I didn’t find it to be any easier to hear. Also I got a really annoying “bass” sound of the wind fluttering around my helmet that I otherwise don’t notice. I won’t wear them again

    Earpeace Pro ear plugs for motorcycle riders do not work well. They are small in overall size which makes them difficult to insert and remove unless you have small fingers. They don't fit well and absolutely don't provide enough noise suppression for riding a Harley-Davidson. And I wear a 3/4 helmet! I had to stop my first ride while using these ear plugs to replace them with my foam plugs. My standby foam ear plugs are easier to insert and remove, are more comfortable, and provide a better level of noise suppression.
    Save yourself money and some grief. Stick with a good set of quality foam ear plugs. Keeping it simple is always the best approach.

    • @backcountryadvmoto

      I’d argue that. I’ve worn them for 5+ years. And they come with two different sizes a regular and a large. I think they would probably fit 95% of people who buy them
