Might give these a try though previous testing with a similar design faired poorly compared to higher quality foam plugs in terms of wind noise. Thanks for the review.
Got some Eggz today, but I still prefer Auritech as they're easier to get out. With sweaty fingers, it's hard to grab the tiny silicone tab. The Eggz are my back-up pair, but I don't much care for them. I kinda feel they were created *just* to be heavily marketed on social media. Their blurb acts like they're the first person to discover the concept of earplugs. No doubt they've made something ridiculous like $0.75bn with their 'clever' marketing (that's not to say they don't work or that the idea of ear protection more generally isn't a sensible idea)...but they're just earplugs.
I don't claim to have tried every earplug out there, I just know that these (for me) are the best I've ever used. I'm still using the same set, love em 🤷♂ And although they were given to me, I don't get anything from Eggz if someone buys them.

Earplugs are great as long as you remember to put them in! Makes music better too, it's like sitting in a car style audio as opposed to sitting on the roof of the car doing 100kph with the stereo turned up to 11. Earplugs with comms rule supreme. I only use comms for music. Mainly Demis Roussos and Nana Mouskouri. Don't talk to me I'm riding. I don't really ride either don't talk to me! I'm buying 2 pairs.
Have you still got the Mifo earbuds mate? I found them too annoying falling out every time I took my helmet off but they are mint for mowing the lawn and shit like that 🍻
@@MVDBR Nah Josh I had to send them back. They would be fully charged and say low battery, and most of the time only one would turn on. When they worked they were great though. I bought some Jabra ones to replace them, again great, but they haven't given me dramas. +1 on mowing the lawn with noise cancelling.

Yeah bike sounds good through the plugs mate can hear the exhaust and not the valve rattle 😅 Wind noise really depends on your helmet though mate I know road helmets are a LOT quieter than off-road suckers in general, but definitely doesn't hurt to plug up regardless! Cheers 👊
@MVDBR Enduro yeah I wear an open face with visor and peak, postie issue, very noisy and I do have a ring in my ears after an hour comuting, I bout em and used your code so got 2 sets, hopefully works for me, I like the little aluminium can to store em in. Thanks for the info.. 👍

I really should wear them way more often than I do, I find tarmac riding on the Tuareg and Beta can be really noisy... is the tyre noise that gets to me far more than wind/engine, but on longer trips I know it all adds up and is permanant the damage that can happen. I tend to grab the foam ones from work as they are free LOL. I tried getting some custom plugs made, but they never fit properly even though they were moulded to my actual ears. Wondering how many epileptics just went into meltdown with the zebra stripes! 😀Hahaha
Even with the Nishua? Man I find the wind noise in that thing really bad, but yeah like I said the windshield makes a difference too. The free option is usually the best mate, and those disposables probably wouldn't get too squishy over there in the colder climes 😁👌
@@MVDBR I took the peak off my Nishua and run it as a road lid now, switched to a NEXX X.WRL on the Tuareg/Beta... coz it had a cool irridium visor 😀 ... but yeah, the Nishua and the NEXX can be noisy, is why I try and fit shorter screens to reduce the turbulance and wind noise around the ears.... it is the grumble from the MotoZ tyres on tarmac that gets through my bones into my head, that gives me a headache most on longer runs, not an issue in the dirt though. Yeah, they seem to be a good consistancy in our weathers
Just wanted to warn you Josh, I gave these a try after your video, your code works perfect and order process was great. But they are not in Holland, they're in the UK, and if I had known this before, I would not have ordered them. Because of Brexit, the parcel was blocked at customs, so they were really helpful and sent me another one via another transporter who said would not have customs issues. Well, did not work either, I asked for a refund, which I got right away. Great customer service, that much worked, but if you're in the EU, don't bother, this freaking Brexit makes it impossible for UK companies to sell us their stuff. Bummer..
