I was married at a young age and 2 years later started having my babies, it took its toll on my bones and teeth, the only thing is I'm a bleeder so no dentist would see me once i failed the clot test! To smile is a gift, to eat is life, to do both with no fear is a blessing!

@@zenozee4862 I did get most of my teeth removed! In a hospital that rented a operation room to my insurance, i had to have multiple blood transfusions my insurance has since refused any further procedures!!
Oh sweetheart I wished you lived in ga My dentist would do it ...I'm anemic and had a blood clot was on blood thinners I got taken off blood thinners a week and a half before my teeth were.taken my top teeth so it was still in my system I had been on them months and months ....so now I love my smile and my dentist made my teeth look just like my teeth which were straight but they were messing up from the inside out do to my 5 month hospital stay on a freaking pain pump ... .my Dr would do it ..

I know that’s hard to believe, but I truly have. But I didn’t just pray for you to have a healthy mouth - which really is so important for overall health - I prayed for your confidence and happiness to not lie in your smile and for you to know how beautiful you are without everything just the way it is! I am raising my granddaughter. I got her when she was 2. Trust me when I tell you…your grandmother NEVER felt she was stuck with you!! I consider it a blessing to raise her! She is now 13. While I sympathize with what you’re saying that is false! People notice it’s just some are not ignorant enough to say anything. I know because my smile has been ruined by meditation needed for my life. People can be cruel because they ASSume we don’t brush or that we are an addict. It’s so false for some of us!! I brush my teeth and rinse everyday even though I know the medicine is killing them…

I am also 67 years old and I live in Florida, I have 2 dental insurance plans. I have been to so many dentist and when they find out about the insurance they still want to charge me out the roof
My dental story is the same as yours. 6 months ago, I did this as well. It was challenging. Both mentally and physically. I’m no longer in pain today. Merina, what helped me - when I sat in the chair - I gave my life and will to God AS they worked. Peace filled my whole body. God was with me. He did not take you this far, to not walk you through this too. ❤️ Give your fear and anxiety to God as they work. He has you and we will be praying for you! 🙏

I cried during the whole video also. I have worked in the medical field for my entire adult life, and I totally felt it when she said she had seen different providers of all specialties, and never felt heard. My heart ached for her tears, and fears, but as a Mamabear, I’m also so super proud of her courage.

You, Marina are an absolutely beautiful human being. I am 60 years old, in 2021 my husband found me in bed sick, took me to the ER, I went semicomatose, I. Had sepsis and strep in my blood, kidney failure all of which led me into cardiac arrest which in turn caused me to bleed out, they used the paddles on me, my husband was in the room with me, he is so traumatized, we just celebrated our 40 year anniversary by the way, then from bleeding out it caused permanent nerve damage to my leg. I'm telling you all of this because in spite of all the bad, and oh I was put on dialysis. My spiritual journey began. They called my husband and two girls in to say their goodbyes, I could hear them, I could hear what they were saying, I could hear them crying, I knew my heart was still beating but I thought well this must really be it so I started praying like I had never prayed before. I didn't pray for myself because I wasn't scared, I became so comfortable, like I was floating on a beautiful white fluffy cloud, I was praying to God to give my husband and girls comfort and strength to go on without me, I'm praying but in the same breath I was laying there wondering when my heart was going to stop beating. TTHEEEENNNNN the bright light moment occurred, the light inside my head was so bright and then a voice hollered NOOOOOO! The next morning I was awake and setting up in bed, I didn't know anything, anybody, I couldn't move my right leg, but you know what? I knew things were going to be ok, I knew from that day my physical healing would take slot of time and hard work but most importantly my sspiritual journey had began and boy did it begin. I would love to reach out to you by a personal lettsr, that will understandably be up to you. I'm sorry this was so long but I just had the very strong need to reach out to you. I thank you for your time and I thank you for sharing your "Come To Jesus" experiences.

When my husband fell from a helicopter while in Iraq he became 100% disabled and we lost our dental insurance. My health took a huge turn and my teeth took a huge hit from malnutrition. I’m fighting to gain every ounce. I’m up from 82 to 92 pounds currently but it’s not enough. For 7 years I didn’t see a dentist and finally in 2024 did. It costs $1,000’s and was about 8 appointments but still you wait til you have that smile you’ve always wanted with no pain!! It’s sooooo worth it!! I’m soooooo incredibly happy for you!! It took a long time to get me in that chair … I get it!! ❤ God’s GOT US!!

Merina I was in tears because I have walked the same path. I’m good at the guarded smile and very good at shutting down when I realize someone is focusing in on my teeth. It’s been that way since I was a little girl. I grew up in a “holler” in SW Virginia and my parents were country folks. They didn’t see the need for dental care. You only saw a dentist when you had a “bad” tooth. I remember in kindergarten kids laughing at me because I had such a decayed eye tooth. My parents, God love ‘em, thought my decayed tooth wasn’t a problem because it was just a baby tooth. On top of that mind set was the fact that I had a very severe overbite and 2 huge bugs bunny front teeth. So not only was I laughed at for the decay but also for the physical attributes of my teeth. I can remember being on the playground playing with my friends and having fun - not a care in the world, like small children should be, but my wide natural smile might slip out and someone would see it and start laughing. So I’d go from carefree and happy to trying to hide my teeth with a tight smile. No little child should experience that. During 2020 I made the decision to have all my upper teeth pulled and get a denture. I struggle with it because it’s one of those $575 dentures but it’s been a blessing in the sense that I can finally eat potato chips and crispy food. Up until I got the denture my overbite wouldn’t allow me to eat those types things because my bottom teeth would cut into my upper gums. It was actually deadening the nerves to my front teeth. Which is why I went ahead and had the uppers pulled. I’m sorry to be rambling. No one has ever really listened to my story either. I know your fear, anxiety, and embarrassment. I still live it. Sending you hugs dear friend. I’m praying and sending lots of love your way. Super excited for you! 💕

My husband was not taken to the dentist as a child and suffers horribly because of his teeth. You are correct that it is extremely expensive to get them fixed. It absolutely breaks my heart to see how he speaks differently in front of some people because he doesn't want to open his mouth to far so they can see or the way he has changed his smile so that his teeth don't show or the excruciating toothaches and not to mention what other health issues it may be causing. He works so hard to provide for our family. I wish we could get his teeth fixed. God bless these people for helping you. I wish there were more out there willing to help people with there teeth issues. Oh Melina, what a dream come true. At age 39 and a half years old, I lost the remainder of my teeth. I always prayed I could keep my teeth at least until age 40. On the day I had them all pulled at the advice of my dentist, I cried. This has drastically changed my life. I avoid going out in public as much as possible. I am currently making payments on my dentures, that don’t t fit. I have to use lots of glue to hold them in, and the bottom plate still comes loose. I have always had poor self esteem, even as a child. In November 2022 I underwent gastric sleeve surgery in an effort to basically prevent me from becoming completely immobile. So my diet is a high protein low/no carb diet. It’s so hard to eat meat. I live on yogurt, because it’s soft and easy to eat. When I’m home I don’t wear my dentures simply because they are so annoying. I’ve been watching your videos since the episode you tried to do a cartwheel on camera. Your personality is lovely so I never miss an episode. I have the Lord in my heart and my life. I know the love and joy he brings to my life. Anyway, my heart overflows for you. What a blessing! I’m excited for you. I wish you all the best in this journey. God Is good!
You should go back to your dentist tell him that your dentures don't fit you need to redo them because not paying for them not to fit properly
I just got dentures last month at a horrible dentist that left me with absolutely no bottom teeth for 2 months because the bottom plate didn't fit at all and labs do not rush. Please please go back to your dentist and demand they adjust them. I took a nail file to the parts that rubbed so you could try that but the bottom one being so loose needs to be fixed by the dentist especially if your making payments. I hope your able to get them to eventually fit right. It makes so much difference and you will be able to eat meat in small chunks and actually enjoy food again.
Try just cooking ground hamburger meat this way, put the meat in a pan with a half a cup or a cup of water, and salt and pepper or whatever seasonings you like, and mash up and stir the water and meat together while it cooks.
When it’s all browned and ready to eat, it will be a much softer, crumblier texture.
Beef is a much more nutritious source of protein than yogurt.
I hope you’ll look into the carnivore diet, I’ve been feeling much better since switching to carnivore.
Another thing you can eat is soft, fluffy, scrambled eggs and cheese ❤
P.S. I hope that you get a better set of fitting dentures.

The worst pain I felt was the shots to numb my mouth. The most aggravating part was when my gums started healing and the stitches got loose.... My mom didn’t give much thought to having my teeth done. I’m am petrified of the dentist. I love the face of the dentist you have. It’s a calming face to me. Wish I could get him for my dentist. I saw your previewing saying you were posting a video at 7pm. When I saw it I literally screamed out “My girl is getting her teeth done!!” And my husband was so confused and I showed him the preview and understood. But honestly, we are both so so excited for you. Your teeth do not define you, but I know that will make you feel better. Your imperfections make you uniquely created! But, girl your heart and spirit 🥰🥰🥰 that’s why you have 100k.
I’m 5 and a half weeks out from removal and full mouth implants. The pain and discomfort is something BUT the impact is phenomenal! My husband and I were out grocery shopping 2 days ago and I realized for the first time in a lot of years, I smiled and laughed freely with a stranger and I didn’t instinctively cover my mouth.
You are a beautiful and happy soul already, but I can’t wait to see you beam when this is all done. I am almost as excited for you as I was for me 😊 You deserve it honey!

My husband is 36 and has dealt with dental issues most of his life. Last December, he went and had them all pulled to make way for his dentures. . never forget the night he got them done because the absolute agony and pain he experienced...ive been with him for 15 years and had NEVER seen him in such devastation. In fact, i ended up taking him to the emergency room and he was hooked up to morphine just to try and get him comfortable. But here we are a year and a half later and his quality of life is so much better. Long gone are the days of excruciating toothaches and he actually has open smiles with a ton more confidence!!

I’m glad he is doing good now. I have a ton of dental work that needs to be done at 41. I always have. In my opinion, teeth pain is worse than giving birth and i have given birth without pain meds. 😅

I turned 33 the year I had mine pulled. I have a full denture on top partial on bottom. I was scared to death, but I haven't regretted having it done at all. My confidence is so much better. You will feel so much better knowing there's no pain when you eat or brush your teeth! Much love. God Bless You!

Had mine done at 32, as well! It's terrifying, but it's going to be amazing not having a sore, broken tooth. I realized it was time when I broke a tooth eating a soft french fry ❤️ I got the studs in my bottom jaw because it was so crooked I couldn't keep my teeth in. My dentist watched me cry a lot. You're okay. You're so brave. I'm so proud of you ❤

I am 53 and have had 12 root canal’s trying to save my teeth from Sjorgens syndrome.
My root canals are failing and o have to get all my teeth removed too😢

I’m so happy for you, this is truly a blessing ❤️. I can totally relate, at the age of 5, I had 13 cavities. The dentist told my mom I had very soft teeth, so I saw a dentist every 6 months & brushed my teeth at least 3 times/day. I had at least 1 cavity at every dentist visit & most times it was 3-4 😭. I remember the first time the dentist told me I didn’t have any cavities, I actually cried. I was in my 30’s-40’s. I had root canals in every tooth & multiple caps
By the time I was in my mid 50’s, I started getting decay & infections. My teeth started crumbling & breaking off at the gum line. I finally told my dentist, it’s time
One thing that helped me, was to join a support group on Facebook & I watched a LOT of videos of people who got dentures. I did a few videos on my journey, it was so helpful to have people to talk too. Now I have beautiful straight white teeth & no more pain

I can so relate. My first experience with a dentist was chipping the bone out between my two front teeth. It wasn't numb, and he wouldn't listen to me. He kept telling me not to be a baby. I was maybe 10 or 11. I have later found out that I don't respond to the numbing medication normally and I need about double what is normally needed. I didn't have proper dental care as a child. I overcame an abusive marriage and raised my six children alone without support. My kids were my first priority. I can relate to brushing your teeth and having them crumble and being in pain all the time. I just paid off my youngest sons braces. I had a consult, your not joking about when you said it's expensive. Way outside my budget. I am saving and praying I can keep my teeth relative pain free until I get enough saved.

My daughter lost all of hers at 28. Her dentures look great. I got dentures at 60. My health is so much better. I’ve lost 40 pounds and kept it off. My A1c is 5.7,my cholesterol is below normal,all because I can actually eat the good foods. And you won’t believe how good you’ll feel getting those infected teeth out,and to actually have good health again. I had 2 heart attacks during the years leading up to getting dentures,the cardiologist told me bad teeth and gums take a tole on your whole body.

The dentist gives me anxiety too! They usually prescribe me something for anxiety to take the morning of dental work. It helps soooo much. I could feel myself getting anxious watching this video. Ill pray for you to have a peaceful experience and fast recovery!
