I cannot stand her! I get the whole body positive movement and I think it's great and there's a time and place for it. I personally wouldn't have even cared if they went the body positive route with Barbie but Amy can't act and she isn't funny...she's even less funny when she's retelling someone else's joke. So I'm glad they didn't go with her.

dont hate, Amy was in talks for the movie but back then Mattel/the studios had completely different ideas how the movie was going to look like, apparently the Barbie movie idea was being shopped around in Hollywood even back in 2018 and the script was re-written lots of times, Margot talks in interviews how she had to fight to make her and Gretas version happen

I couldn’t finish the movie. Teaching young girls that women are suppressed is so outdated and laughable. Women have come a long way from the key points of this movie. I could see this movie being accurate in the 80s or even 90s but not today. It’s 2023! Women are not suppressed and I’m a woman..
Although I will have to add, unfortunately this is not the case for many women around the world. But I’m a woman from Iowa, USA and I won’t be showing this film to my young daughter. Hate that this movie just idles the huge strides women have made in all industries. Amy was right and I love her even more now. I’m still in shock that some of my favorite actors participated in this film.. but then I saw they got paid 12 million dollars each for it. Go figure

@Alex Alex according to her ratings on her last Netflix special she is definitely not the best. She's also a hack, the majority of her jokes were stolen. Also if you only jokes you can come up with is how gross of a body you have or how sexual you are how many guys you've blown, that kind of tight cast a comedian and whatever shows going to be the same every time. Another words you can only repeat the same type of jokes so many times before people become bored.
