Nothing. She made a movie and someone shot up a theater where it was showing. She expressed concerns about gun violence and that was it. She re-used an idea about dating a magician in her sketch show and people freaked like comedians never steal each other’s jokes. Also, she’s related to Chuck Shumer.

Finally I get to be a jackal! "The prince" doesn't fall in love with Rapunzel because there is no prince in the movie. Flynn Rider falls in love with Rapunzel and doesn't become a prince until maybe after getting married to Rapunzel (not sure how their monarchy system works)

Amy mentioning the problem with Disney films... For movies for kids - switch over to Ghibli Studio movies!! They have decent roles and plot lines for both daughters AND sons, themes that all kids need.
I know this is very politically incorrect, but as a gay man, I now miss how all the old Disney villains were entertainingly evil queens.
I admit, I don't love her standup, but when she's just sitting around talking I love her. she's so cute and charismatic. I also like her a lot as an actress. The same charm comes through.

These are standup bits. You'll see how Seth goes "so I imagine this is when you're introducing him to Disney movies" - and she goes "yes, but it's a little problematic...". Seth knows she has the Disney movie bit - so he sets her up to 'tell a story'. I'm just saying you shouldn't try and separate her from standup and talk shows - she's always doing bits. These ones happen to be more family oriented because she's a mom now.
Her standup is solid, it was just over saturated. I bet if you watch her first special you'll laugh your dick off. Also as another user wrote - Inside Amy Schumer is genuinely one of the best sketch comedy shows, if you liked her here, I bet you'll enjoy it!
Completely agree. Never laughed at her standup but talkshows, movies, her show are hilarious. Same with Ilana Glazer from broad city.

Amy Schumer is a textbook example of women being judged more harshly than men in the same field.

There are plenty of well respected women in the comedy community. Amy Schumer is not one of them because she clearly stole jokes (often from other women), and has a reputation of bumping comics and taking their time at a show.
She did not steat jokes. There are many instances of duplicate jokes from all comedians. They go for the low hanging fruit sometimes. Like how in the 90s when email came out everyone made snail mail jokes and thought they were geniuses for it. It's convergent evolution.

Roz is voiced by a man. So like as iconic as the character is AND SHE IS it’s still a man which is annoying. Boo is a child and that other woman, Celia, is pretty weak the whole time and like brings the guys down.

It’s funny . . . All movies from the 80s were basically saying the guy’s girlfriend with short brown hair was the true villain for existing and the guy is the hero for cheating on her with a busty blonde woman who doesn’t talk.

I have never blacked out or thrown up from drinking too much. Sure, some parts of the night may have been a bit foggy (browned out) but never completely that I had no idea what I did the night before when I woke up.

I am a mother and my daughter is learning how to be a woman and love herself by observing my behaviour. If she's watching a marimade acting strange, it's a great moment for a discussion. I am a parent and parenting is my responsibility. Movies are not there to do my job. Those expectations are ridiculous.
Exactly! My favourite movie was The Little Mermaid but I never gave up my voice or any part of me for a boy I never met 🤣 I only dyed my heir red because of her which is a tragedy on its own lol

@Ally Mins I don't have a son but it applies to both gender, surely I would use problematic moments and explain not to kiss a girl without her consent, just as it is explained in Maleficent. My husband is a good role model and shows how to treat a woman with respect and love. My daughter will have a benchmark to compare her future partners to. If we had a boy he would have a role model in my husband. I don't have to do the whole parenting alone. Most children have a male role model, if not a father then a grandfather, uncle, older brother. We don't live in a void that needs to be filled with movies. It is our responsibility to raise children and shifting it to the entertainment industry is just bizarre.
