That doesn't excuse her faults. People dislike her because she was bossy and acted like the queen bee just because her husband was the leader. There were other people in the group who were more capable than she ever could be so she had no right to boss them around or pretend that she was in charge. Not to mention that she cheats on HER HUSBAND WITH HIS BEST FRIEND after only a few months of him being gone. That's beyond gross. Ever since then, she's been a highly disliked character and most people were happy when Lori wasn't part of the group anymore.
What broke my heart was when she saw Shane pull up at the school. Her words "Is he alive" tells me she's been worrying about that day since Rick joined the force. And I bet Rick, Lori and Shane (who was probably Carl's godfather, have been preparing Carl since he was old enough to understand that someday Daddy might not come home.
Although i disagree with her having a baby i still think she was a good character and i cared about her. When she died i was so sad i just wish they could have kept her longer

I love her in Prison Break! I don't like her character in the Walking Dead but I have to say she is great at acting and she is beautiful. Lori was not a good person at times but her death was sad. I'm not gonna say anything bad about the actress that plays her because characters and actors are completely different, I found this out because I loved her character in prison break....she played Sara Tancredi and she is a really nice, strong character but not so much in the walking dead so please don't say anything about the actress. So when she went Into labor, she gave up her life, so that her baby could live, because she knew that the world would get better, and she told Carl to always do what he felt was right, and that he was gonna survive, and beat this world. To me, I call that selfless. I loved Lori with all my heart, she was a wonderful and selfless Mother who always did what was best for her children and I miss her so much. #RIPLoriGrimes. People in this day and age have been brought up and buy into this Girl Power bullshit so much that it is the point that when a woman is portrayed as an imperfect person who have many facets, it is called misogyny. Lori is more of a real character than the Mary Sues so prevalent on TV and the movies nowadays.

Once he returned and her and Carl were reunited with Rick, did she continue having sex with Shane?? NO she felt awful about it. She didn't watch Carl 24/7 because at both the Atlanta -quarry camp and the farm, they were safe (for the most part..) and it was Carl that would sneak out every fucking chance he got. When Shane died, yes, Lori was pissed. She, Rick and Shane have been friends for a long time so she was already close in that point with Shane and she knew that she needed both Rick and Shane's skills to keep Car and the others safe. When Shane died, she was shocked that Rick would actually kill him, she thought he wouldn't actually kill him because she believed him to be a reasonable dude.When Lori died, her last words to Carl were so emotional and beautiful and when they held each other, crying together for the last time, how could you not feel your heart break into two?? Lori was an amazing, damn good selfless mom. She have her life to save her unborn child and if you judge her for being a terrible mother, reconsider that.

All the parents who are saying "not my kid" are just trying to convince themselves they are superior. Rick had to watch the kid one ffn time and the kid got SHOT! What the F people?! I just finished watching all of seasons 1,2 and the first half of season 3. I know alot of people didn't like Lori but this was sad and it's sad to see Lori go.
the thing that pissed me off the most about her was that there were a couple of moments when Shane was willing to accept not being with Lori but Lori kept him feeling hopeful cause she still wanted him. the 1st was in season 2 when Shane was about to leave the group for good with Andrea but Lori said "stay". he asked her if thats what she really wanted and she said yeah. then when Shane was up on some windmill doing repairs Lori talked to him alone to reminisce about the good times they had together and said she wasnt sure if the baby was Rick's (after previously saying it's Rick's no matter what). right there u could see in Shane's eyes that that's when he decided to kill Rick. she didnt cheat on Rick cause she thought he was dead (2 weeks?!). she wanted a bad boy and Rick was too good to her. in a flashback scene she told a coworker that she wished Rick would lose his temper and call her a bitch. thats what she wanted and thats exactly what she deserved. i was honestly glad when she died. good riddance

the thing that pissed me off the most about her was that there were a couple of moments when Shane was willing to accept not being with Lori but Lori kept him feeling hopeful cause she still wanted him. the 1st was in season 2 when Shane was about to leave the group for good with Andrea but Lori said "stay". he asked her if thats what she really wanted and she said yeah. then when Shane was up on some windmill doing repairs Lori talked to him alone to reminisce about the good times they had together and said she wasnt sure if the baby was Rick's (after previously saying it's Rick's no matter what). right there u could see in Shane's eyes that that's when he decided to kill Rick. she didnt cheat on Rick cause she thought he was dead (2 weeks?!). she wanted a bad boy and Rick was too good to her. in a flashback scene she told a coworker that she wished Rick would lose his temper and call her a bitch. thats what she wanted and thats exactly what she deserved. i was honestly glad when she died. good riddance

Yes Lori is still my favourite character but so is Andrea :)
I didn't really like Lori but her death was so sad 💔 especially Ricks reaction and she kinda redeemed herself as she did give up her life for her kid
