Girls, in Holland in a tv show she was challenged. She accepted and sang the phone book. Unbelievable! It is on you tube and worthwhile to look at it.
This was done at her home studio in Sweden during the pandemic lockdown. She did several covers at this time. My favorite is M83s Oblivion, from the Tom Cruise movie. I’m not sure there is a band strong enough to drown out Floor’s powerful voice. Keep exploring Floor and Nightwish.

Floor did a cover of Lara Fabian's song "Adagio" its totally amazing NOTE : Floor is wearing a white dress in this one not black
Floor did remix the song after her fan's told her that her voice was too soft in the mix. That version is also on her TH-cam channel.
I thought she took down the original and replaced it with the remixed one?
All the covers/tributes Floor has on her TH-cam channel are great.

She made this for her little daughter who has incidentely the singer of Nightwish as a mother and the drummer of Sabaton as a father. So it's not strange that it's a bit heavier than the original 😊
But the essence of the song is still alive and kicking!!
Floor did this song during the lockdown for the fans. Her daughter was watching this movie over and over so she figured why not this one for Freja? Floor has lots of good songs from the lockdown times she did for us, the fans.

Just to let you know all the members of nightwish past and present that has a
"J" In their name which includes Floor Jansen is pronounced as a " Y" like Yansen so they include Tarja, Jukka,( old drummer) and Jukka (new bassist)
She also perfomed it live at Pinkpop, ( a Dutchrock/pop/metal festival) where Nightwish also did a show and her solo tour in The Netherlands.
I was there singing along, 50 years old being a Elza as where everyone there at Pinkpop and the solo tour.
Jep "the blue" in the eyes was Freja's Choice ( and as all Moms.. sha had to hear the song all the time when Freja was hearing and singing along)

This version was not the best in terms of mix and Floor's first release from home. We fans told her that her beautiful voice is too quiet compared to the instrumental. And a little later she listened to exactly that and re-released the song. Perfect this time. It's also on their youtube channel. Unfortunately, of course, less clicked, because the reactors always choose the wrong version. 😂
By the way, many agreed afterwards that Floor should be hired by Disney to sing their tracks. Floor said that Disney is known for not treating their singers very well.
I also think that Floor could easily have taken on the role as Melificent instead of Angelina Jolie.

No disrespect to Idina Menzel, but Floor just wiped the floor with Idina and her version of Frozen. Maybe there's more passion and more of a rockin' edge to Floor's version because Frozen is based on a Danish fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. I believe you did NOT react to the Remastered version. Many of us said the same thing, that the music overpowered the vocals.....so they remastered it. You should listen to it. You will appreciate it so much more!!
