Why i believe Christ said that to the Pharisees and Sadducees was because their hearts were full of hatred, deceit and hypocrisy. There was no iota of love in their heart and who is the father of deceit? The devil. I guess this answers the question.

Look how you say, God is my only father, and then you include a man and you don’t include the God of Israel, who spoke to Abraham, Moses Isaac, Jacob, and did not speak to Jesus. The context under which these Old Testament texts is written is responsible for their language attributing everything under creation to God even if man and Satan corrupted what was created perfectly. There it is not true to say that the Old Testament perspective of God was incorrect because of the use of language in the Old Testament. However it is true to say that we should see the Old Testament through the eyes of Jesus and not see Jesus through the eyes of the Old Testament

Real simple, Jesus said it about YHWH.
Because they were sinning & evil and did not believe in a man who was mocked ,tortured,murdered and who only spoke the truth they refused to follow a man who made sense and did not hurt anyone and they were not following Jesus ..they were guilty of disobeying God / Jesus and doing their own thing to help themselves ..they lived their life with greed for power n control and they did not value God/ Jesus who only came to save sinners so they can be saved who was mocked ,tortured ,murdered for only saying he was God's son here to save them and to spread God's message so the world would live in peace,love.
