A verse overlooked by many, in John, Jesus actually closes this conversation himself when he says: "..what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? (John 10:36)
Another example is when Jesus asks Simon: “Who do you say I am?”
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven" (Matthew 16:15-17).
Jesus gives Simon a compliment for rightfully addressing him as the Son. He also separates himself from the Father when he says that the Father revealed this to Simon, and not Jesus himself.
And remember, nobody has ever seen God except Jesus. People have seen Jesus so if he was God, then this would be impossible.
"No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father." (John 6:46)
On the cross, Jesus asked God to forgive them.
"Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
(Luke 23:34)
Why couldn't Jesus just forgive them himself if he was God? Becaue he isn't.
Another example is when a man falls on his knees before Jesus and says: "Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good - except God alone" (Mark 10:18 and Luke 18:19)
As we can see here, Jesus makes it clear that he is not God. If he was, then he would be "the good one".
In John 14:28 Jesus says: “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, "for the Father is greater than I."
Of course, if one is greater than the other, it's impossible that they are one and the same.
When Jesus was baptized, God spoke from heaven and said that Jesus is His Son. Did God lie? Of course not because God never lies.
"As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”(Matthew 3:16-17)
Regarding the end of times and when they're coming Jesus said:
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father" (Mark 13:32)
Again, Jesus separates himself from God. He does not know, only the Father knows. If the and the Father were one and the same, Jesus would also know. Jesus never once told people to worship him, or anyone else, but the Father alone.

This is a compelling scene. But everything is not as it seems it is clear that those to whom Jesus was speaking, thought they knew everything about God and his plan. Therefore Jesus described them as blind guides. In our generation, there are many who also assume they know God‘s plan in every detail and assume likewise That they are wise when they are really the same blind guides from Jesus day. I’m referring here obviously to religion and it’s many constructs often organized by man many the well-meaning have performed functions useful to God and his purposes throughout the course of time, however, at the end of the day, it is God alone, who gives revelation. And these are often simply vehicles to get us to a point of which we receive, and except him in our lives and walk as he walked to become the fullness of who we already were no less than a son of God in our own form, Jesus is our brother. We are God’s sons and daughters. Jesus is the last Adam and our forerunner. We like him follow similar paths as we share the truth of the gospel to those whom are in our midst, to our generation. Many places it says clearly the Christ lives in as as us so in this world we are him as it says in the letters of John as he is, so are we in this world.
