In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Be sure to stay subscribed to stay up to date with my latest expeditions, y'all!
13:14 You stepped in it! You stepped in the caasssarole!
You make me smile. Love how you talk to the stuff you find. 😆
🤣 the little screams when breaking the fan blades off….hilarious! Was not expecting that! 🤣
I laugh ed at that I think mike should always do that x
He's always keeping it fresh! I 💙 MTS! 🐼💪🧦
I thought it was my dog at first. 😂
2:59 yes indeed!
Love ALL his noises & little Texas/Southern sayings. Sho' do, tennis shoe!
Mike, when you started to feel up those garbage bags i literally laughed so hard. You have turned scrapping and dumpster diving into a real comedy show. Keep it up sir. Love the content
You are phenomenal ❤ Mike!!!! You are making so many people happy. We appreciate you so much.
I love watching you scavenge reminds me of back in the 70's when I was a kid here in the UK we used to go to the local dump and riffle through bags and boxes and find jewellery, small antiques and allsorts of little treasures, I got quite a few quid doing that, it was like treasure hunting. Love your vids, cheers Mike.
I remember a years ago I lived in a small town and I use to go to the dump and I find alot of stuff
Funny you should say that...
My dad used to give us kids a magnet and say....
If it sticks grab it...

I remember the same, I just wish I would have known to find and keep the copper and brass.😄
Thank you Mike, you always clean up and you speak to people when they are outside. You are courteous and I enjoy watching you. Used to watch a couple other scrappers too. First time they leave a mess I'm done with them. Have learned lots from you. Keep on scrapping!
True Texan👍

Mike. You should consider getting a Tommy lift for your truck. Your back will only last so long and the tommy lift can stay out for those last large items.
I second that, a Tommy lift would help you lift alot of stuff mike, and would pay for itself in the long run.
Mike, I think you are the best scrapper on TH-cam as your videos never get stale. We follow you because you are honest, think of others, your empathy and understanding and how you always find a way to give us a good laugh like the sounds when you broke those fan blades off
Lmmfao 🤣😂 I thought I was tripping when I started hearing the screaming.. I got up and looked out my windows lmmfao 😂🤣🤣 now that was hilarious good one ninja Mike
As you were putting that microwave box into your car, that IKEA commercial was running through my mind with that lady screaming "Start the car", I was screaming "Mikeee start the carrrr"! 😂😂
You guys remember Marlboro Miles. We got the dartboard, the jackets, all the stuff.
Still rocking the luggage, cookware and ashtrays from my miles!
I saved Camel Cash. Got all kinds of ish!!!
That laser cryomist is used with laser tattoo removal. It extracts heat from the skin before the laser is pulsed
I had to return a microwave I purchased at Lowe's because it wasn't the right size to fit the space. Left in car so a employee would lift it out and went in did the return and got the right one. The salesman came out side and because of covid he put a sticker on the box and cut an x across the bar code and told me to dispose of it because they couldn't take back in store. I sold it on market place
That was a nice Christmas present from Lowes. 👍👌
That's some good luck!
( free money makes it fun )
Thank you for being so nice taking blades from fans with u makes me happy happy day to see nice people in the world instead of leaving behind a mess 😀❤️
Those Joe Camel tank tops were the bomb!
Grill,grill,grill,grill,grill.🐎🌻✌️. Fireworks tonight in my hometown. Start of Kentucky derby festival.🎉
You're a real sweetheart for being picky about which cords you cut. Makes me cry when I come up with a cool vintage item and the cord is cut.
Holy screaming, ceiling fans...lol...
I love Mike, the Scavenger videos. They make me laugh in this messed-up world 🌎 🤣 Thank you 😊
Omg the fan blades screaming as you break them off! Priceless
Wow! You have the BEST content on U tube. Some great finds! That little tote of gold, I mean dirty brass 😋, a “new” microwave!??! Wow! Good scrapping! Thanks for taking us along. And as always, be safe out there!
Mike I just had one of your crazy scrapping day.
I wound up with 3- (10') aluminum poles and eill be making an Amateur Radio tripod. I did come across brand new sump pump and washing machine discharges hoses.
Saves me from going out and purchasing them from Lowes.
I even found a sears 14.4 vdc drill kit with the charger and 2 batteries. Batteries need to be rebuilt and can do that.
What I didn't realize was tge pool pump is the same one for my well pump. I went to go back but someone else has it.
Mike have a good weekend.
PS my day started at 4AM and finished at 2 PM...
Mike! Man I smoked briefly back in 1990-91 but everyone smoked camel and man did I collect those bucks. I had t-shirts, duffle bags, lighters, matches. Tons of stuff. Loved getting free stuff from camel. And man a Lot of that stuff is collectable now and worth a little bit. Stay safe out there and keep making us great videos!
You sure are an agile little fella. Love your enthusiasm!! Hopefully that microwave works. Take care and God bless. Watching from Canada 🇨🇦
I wish I was that agile. I possess 10% of Mike's spring.😆😆😆
I love the screaming ceiling fans 😂😂
Well done mikey I love watching you , you are the best thanks man xxxxxxx
Princess Bride was so funny, you gave me a good laugh buddy, lol.❤
I love finding old TVs…the older they are, the more copper they have on the yoke. I also het a lot of copper from components on the boards. I turn the picture tubes in to my local waste container site; it’s illegal to throw electronics in the trash in my county, but people do it anyway, which I profit from. Old monitors and TV picture tubes contain lead and phosphorus gas, which is why TVs and monitors aren’t supposed to be thrown in the trash.
Great run Mikey! Good on ya, respecting the long arm of the law... chillin like a villain
I loved the added screams with the blades breking off fab xxxxx
I absolutely love your commentary while you are working. Makes it so fun to watch you find stuff.
Excellent scrap run you are getting popular with people so they leave you stuff five stars my friend thank you for sharing
Mike that laser scientific has some very interesting items including those canisters youeft behind.
Don't worry someone else picked them up
I don't know why but always and I mean always that the sound of the breaking of the ceiling fan blades is so satisfying. I think I heard smurfs
Mike thanks for keeping Texas beautiful!
Yeah, I remember the camel bucks. Had a jacket, still have camel stuff.
New microwave in the box...got to wonder.
Thanks for sharing
Still got 2 yellow Smokin Joe jackets, Camel lighters, etc.
That's awesome! I just scored 12 servers the other day after work. Along with all the wires/cables! $100 for 10 minutes work!
Truck full of miscellaneous scrap! Nice treasure hunt! 👍👌💵
Best move ever made, the princess bride.
Camel bucks and Marlboro miles!! Yes sir, we had their shirts, hats, and backpacks. You’re showing your age “young man”! Keep picking 👍🏻
Money money money money money you are the money maker. GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS
I love how you work you work real fast and you edit well so that we don't get a lot of boring in between stuff although if you're as funny in between dumpsters and trash piles as you are when you're cleaning them out you could probably leave some of that in too
I like seeing the good old tornado Mike scrapping 😁
Liking Mike the Scavenger doing dumpster
Parkour .
For those who are curious the Edge VR80 units are network video recorders used in large scale video surveillance systems.
Nice 👍 1 Mike scrappy scrappy y'all
I have one of those little Marshall amp. Those little suckers are LOUD!! Quality may not what you expect but it's LOUD!! Keep up the great work!!

Brilliant Street Scrapping and Dumpster Diving - Tonight it was Electronics Night - some real Great Stuff - wow ! Looking forward to the Follow-Up ! Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
Good Afternoon My Good Bro Mike The Scavenger
“Marshall Amp, You get to ride up front!” 😂😂😂
Good job on the broken fan blades Mike! LOVE you Video's too!
Mikey, Mikey, Mikey, you always need to have that Pollyanna happy disposition. Always have that happy go lucky attributes! Ever think you're being tested by Him? Later on you will find great stuff. And always remember there will be finds and greater finds. Always give thanks of the finds even its not much. Still awesome adventures of the somewhat unknown. That makes it exciting!
Has anyone hear from the freeisbetter86 couple?
Allways great to get a video feed from You Mike✌🏻👍🏻🎇
I remember when you were jumping in dumpsters & throwing all that scrap around looking for other stuff & leaving all that money behind. Come along way since then. Ty for taking us along
There is a long fat piece of #2 copper that goes clear around the screen of those older tube televisions. It’s pretty easy to get out.
FYI Mike,You were grabbing the parts inside that TV with wreckless abandon! That area is where you want to stay away from on the inside of an old CRT TV. IT CAN KILL YOU even after sitting unplugged for years. Be careful my friend... Great videos! Thanks you...
Always blown away with how much stuff you find. 👍
Hey Mike you should go back for the cryomist, expensive stuff my friend
Mike, we would love to meet you sweet wife and parents one day! I know that they are really proud of how many people absolutely love you and having you in our lives! Lease!💕
She has a page . Rockin Timber
Helpful hint on those CRT tv's there is a big wire usually copper that runs around the picture tube (I think it is for degaussing) that and the cone on picture tube makes it worth busting them up.. Thanx Mike for another great video and such...
Yes there were 2 actually one was on the neck used for deflection, and around the back there was degaussing, so a reasonable amount of good copper in those.
Just watch them, they're called fly backs for a reason... Ask me how I know! 😉
Mike I love seeing you hit them dumpsters deep and hard. Lol. Thanks for the laugh.
Marshall, you get to ride up front with Mike. First-class ride!!!
i love your channel i was a scrapper from when i was 19 im fifty three now still in my blood you have the best content by far keep it up
Ohhhhhh wow can't wait to watch this epic post.....
Outstanding outing
Awesomeness!!!
You'll have to tell us if it works!
Mother Earth loves ya!!!
Hey Nacho Stuff here you go Mike the Scavenger found some fans for you
nice score on the puters! All kinds of yummies tonight. Love the jumbo ceiling fans! Happy Hunting.
Yeah a good load Mike! I really enjoyed it! Thanks.
Thumbs up for the Princess Bride reference alone
Shoutout when on top of the big dumpster.."King of the hill"!!! lmao
You can’t beat a bit of Peter Cook 🤪
I would love to see if that microwave is new. I don’t think so. Because when stainless steel appliances are new they have that plastic film on them to keep them from getting scratched. But you never know. The other 2 microwaves shows what happens when you forget and put aluminum foil in them and it starts a fire and you grab it and throw it outside to keep it from burning the house down. 😂🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂😘 But those look like after you threw them out you jumped up and down on them. 🤣😂😂😂😂. We know that Mighty Mike and darling Dottie will get to the bottom of it. Stay safe and God Bless
Awesome job. Except, every time you broke off a fan blade hurt my heart.
They can be repurposed in so many wonderful projects. I'd scoop up the PVC too. 🤪👍
Yes a Marshall! I have a love/hate relationship with Marshall amps. Fender twins are the best.
Microwave 👍🏾Awesomeness
Impressive score as usual. Can't wait for the follow up.
Great one as usual!! Could watch all day!!
Mike, I think you should watch how to scrap a TV for copper on the spot, so you don’t have to take the heavy item, you missing a trick, you will gather a lot on the old style TV, I know you love your copper
Baby Cakes!! Good to see another fan of China, IL!!
You a wizard,harry!
🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾 i'm from Malaysia.......good scrap
Right on! This was a good haul for you Mike! Be safe out there! Peace to all....♥︎
Mike love watching your videos, but remember a penny is like a dollar take them both love ya brother.
Hey Mike my brother they just left that microwave just for you because they preciate you you are a good man.🇵🇷
Love you videos Mike , I so look forward to seeing you take care 🇬🇧🇬🇧💗💗
you are the MAN BIG MIKE SUCH A HARD WORKER !!! DON G NAPLES FL
Old CRT TV’s use a vacuum and n the tube, nothing toxic inside, only a large copper coil that all other scrappers take away
When you saw Princess Bride for the first time and Peter Cook turned around, did everyone in the theater yell "Oh No !" 😆
🤣a funny scavenger guy and cool too🤩
Afternoon Mike. Hope its a great day for you.
Yeah a bit of Peter Cook and Princess Bride !!
You did a GREAT job building the sideboards.
Mike around the tv is still a thick copper cable. Greetings from Germany.
