Been waiting for this one. Wanted to hear Gene’s reasoning for liking this turkey. Roger condemning Gene’s preference of this over Dead Again is gold. HD&TMM is an entertainingly bad film
@@andrewgardner8972HD&TMM has its moments but agree with Roger about the illogical plot involving the bank and the deed to the bar. At the end of the movie, we have no clue what became of the bar since the owners are dead and Harley and Marlboro leave town. Also there’s a subplot involving a drug called Crystal Dream that is brought up multiple times (it turns out that the bank is a front for drug dealers). We are told what the drug’s high is but no one is ever seen using the drug. That’s a missed opportunity. The movie shot cheaply, the action is not exciting or well executed, and the early scenes are pretty much just setup sequences for the nothingness that follows. Yeah some of the dialogue between Rourke and Johnson is funny, but I found the Marlboro Man to be a much more interesting character than Harley. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine. I watch the movie often even though it’s pretty lackluster.
Looks fun to see.
Ebert sucks. Like Siskel said, it was a great movie for all the reasons he mentions
Gene liked it ? WOW !
I HATED Dead Again. Shut up, Roger.

It's an entertaining movie.
Both dead again and Harley Davidson and the Marlboro man are good movies.
