Hello! Owner of the channel here!
After reading your comments expressing confusion about what the flower comment means, and why Astel and Kira reacted that way, I decided to do some research in a variety of Japanese websites.
Unfortunately I couldn't find a concrete answer, and I do not want to put words in Izuru's mouth by giving you my potentially inaccurate assumption of what it means.
Please take this with a grain of salt, but in the meantime, I believe it's a personal question that can be considered harassment in some specific circumstances. And just in case, the boys were clearly bantering with each other and none of them were actually uncomfortable.
If anyone can give a concrete explanation or examples of why that flower comment can be seen as harassment in Japanese culture, please do let me know.

ive seen this before and just popped up in my recommended. i too was curious what it means and kinda looked it up too. i saw an article with the title hanakotoba, i dont know if it only applies to sunflowers but it could mean 'im only looking at you', which i dont think is gross at all but maybe the way izuchama said it? i also tried to look for negative meanings of flowers but i cant find anything gross.
